It comes in two options, the first being Wi-Fi only and the second adding LTE connectivity. Both are now making their way to Europe, the UK, and other markets after debuting in India last month.
Regardless of which Redmi Pad SE 8.7 one you go for, you’re getting an 8.7-inch IPS LCD with 800 x 1,340px resolution, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and a 5:3 aspect ratio. The panel is also rated at up to 600 nits brightness in outdoor mode and features a 5MP front-facing camera. The screen is flanked by dual speakers with Dolby Atmos and you also get a headphone jack if you prefer wired audio.
The back gets a single 8MP shooter capable of FHD video recording. Both versions of the tablet come with MediaTek’s Helio G85 chipset with 4GB RAM and 64/128GB storage. Storage is expandable via the onboard microSD card slot.
