I wonder will we get umbrella Academy season 4, or how it should have ended like Game of Thrones breakdown?
8.5/10
Seen it last night , amazing movie so nostalgic and the hybrid really topped it off! No fake AI which is a breath of fresh air
The ending ruins completely the movie just like in Alien Resurrection…too bad. And again the woman is the only survivor….again! No big surprises! Prometheus was way much better!
I thought this video was explaining the ending.. not asking us to explain it..
I really liked the Humalien at the end. At first I thought it was going to be a straight up Engineer, completing their reproductive circle they were trying to achieve.
Loved Alien & Aliens, the rest…while interesting, huge disappointments.
Ok. I really really have to see this now !
Its not a bad film. I dont think any of the alien films are bad. Bar the predator aliens spinoff stuff. But I don't think its top 3. Cant decide if alien 3 or romulus is the weakest entry. But alien 3 and romulus are still awesome films.
4th best of the saga. I liked Prometheus a little better than Romulus but enjoyed it very much.
I am the only one not a fan. As Aliens was my favorite sci fi movie in my 10 top of all time movies. I found it super confusing esp as to the growth of the human like alien which looked like a freak and not scary alien. No way Rain would have been able as a young inexperience girl would have survived this. A bunch of kids going up against these guys would never have lasted a minute and the actually dont.
It shows the priority of waylon utarni that the xenomorph is found on a floating space rock. While Ripply is still float on life support showing that she isn't important to them.
This is the movie that should have followed Aliens, one of the best movies of the year. I hope they do a directors cut.
Useless
Zero. Even behind Star Trek Discovery and Woke Disney Acolyte.
The only true bad alien film was Alien Resurrection.
There's so many plot hole: 1) Sulaco nuked, no debris, 2) Alien was not the queen type 3) The research station missed the alien on the upper half of the pod and no guard, no quarantine?
Best Alien movie since Aliens but also not as good as Aliens. #3 is fair. I enjoyed the nods to the other alien movies. It was clear whoever wrote this was a fan of the franchise.
I actually liked the final act. The baby monster was something different and truly nightmarish. I would like though a future alien movie that focuses only on the Xenomorphs
Im still confused… how did the xenos and facehuggers get to LV-426 and the Nostromo from David at the end of Covenant? Last we were made to believe that David engineered the specimen himself and was jetting through space with a couple of baby facehuggers and a ship with thousands of people in cryo sleep? He was the only one with the aliens and with the knowledge about them. Right?
So much for ending explained. I've already watched the film I didn't need a recap 🫠 click bait man
I think Alien Romulus has a few similarities as Alien towards the end, other than that the storyline is well done.
Ending recapped not explained
it had elements from two games and a story from the aliens comic books where the same ish scenario plays out on what i think is a luxury liner in space with a girl and an android playmate she has outgrown who appears to be a little brother bought by her mom and dad but it's the yautja and a xenomorph that cause the problems
Bjorn, not even once! 😂
I mean, he was my least favourite part of the film, but it was so funny to me when I realised he hadn't been mentioned at all in this video!
Like, he's shown on screen but never brought up or even named 🤣
I wonder if TS disliked him as much as I did and so showed that the film lost nothing with his exclusion? 🤔
If you cannot get the ending you must be lobotomized 😂
A good movie, but way too much fan service.
WHY would a massive mega-corp asset full of the biological material they view as the holy grail of science be unceremoniously allowed to destroy itself?
Romulus was good. I place it behind Alien, Aliens, Prometheus, Covenant and Alien 3.
The right amount of practical effects with just the right amount of CGI.
There were some massive plot holes that didn't make too much sense to me as an avid Alien lore buff.
The Nostromo went nuclear when it went up with its payload. There would be no debris field to discover. The Xeno was jettisoned at a totally different location from where the Nostromo exploded. Perhaps that's why it took 20 years to find its carcass… I guess.
Speaking of the carcass… I guess this is a new revelation on the lifecycle of the Xeno considering the derelict on Acheron (LV-426) was said to be thousands of years old and those eggs were still alive… I guess.
The Xeno carcass was easier to find versus just flying to LV-426 and homing in on the beacon of the derelict?
Rook and company somehow de-engineered the Black Goo from the Xeno's blood to create a horde of face huggers that they could freeze without the need for a Queen or eggs?
But aside from those plot points, the film wasn't bad.
5:41 throat goat
I love Prometheus more than any other movie in the franchise. Its the only movie which is rewatch-able.
Interracial couple woke propaganda. Lead actor was way too young, almost a child. Bodycount is too low and alien development felt rushed and unconvincing. 5/10
Did the alien blood in previous movies make holes in the ships ?
Ronald Reagan keep trying to give me voters advice I just want to find out about the movie
That movie was a ridiculous lame remake of all the good scenes from other alien films. Nothing original, except DEI robot. Boooooring!!! Don't waste your money on this empty space.
What’s to Explain.
So glad they drop David from the movie.
In script writing there is the device of the 'ticking time bomb' that must be stopped before it goes off. They created this device in a very clever way, a space craft being pulled into the orbit of an ice ring. Adding this element to the movie was a stroke of genius.
So 6th best after pVa 2
you almost make the movie sound good
