I've never understood being upset about the fact "7/10" being considered bad, It means like in a simplified way that only 30 percent of the game isn't perfect or full bodied. Like the other 30 percent of the other 70 percent is well made with fully worked out engine and story ect.
I would even argue that the whole "7/10" means that like the other 3 isn't missing it just maybe never met it's full potential, if you love a game that is considered a 7/10 that means you can see where the 3 is and move on with it never reaching it's full heights but is all subjective. beauty will always be in the eye of the beholder.
