Game is boring af. Streamers will make it game if the year since if gives them a game they can play all day with how slow paced it is and the content. Definitely a game for people without lifes and have hours eveeyday to play it. Cough cough streamers

My issue with BG3 thus far (i'm only 15 hours in) is that it feels very gamey. It is super true to the D&D 5e experience, and at times feels like i'm playing tabletop. However what it doesn't do is let the mechanics slip into the background and let the gameplay and story shine. Maybe its the dice rolls constantly popping up, or the constant zoom-ins to cinematics which feel excessive, but I constantly see the gears turning as I play which breaks the immersion. The game ultimately forgets that D&D is a story system with mechanics underneath, rather than a mechanical system with a story underneath. I miss the immersion and escapism that even modern RPGs like Pillars of Eternity do way better. Or even Elden Ring which actually is pretty incredible at making you forget the mechanics of the game and front ends the wonder, discovery, and mystery of the world.

The game is for me more than a goty I have played it for more approximately 1000 hours so it is for me a 9,5/10 depending how everything works out a 10/10

The graphics are both good and bad…there's weird lighting and colors sometimes and people teleport in cutscenes a lot…animations are 6/10 at best outside of cutscenes…the faces look good technically but give me weird Neverwinter2 uncanny vibes….every other scene i see in this game makes it feel like a 90s game somehow, I can't even explain it…not in a good way. I want to play this and skip the dice roll delay animations, but i'm not sure I can get past the look.
You can get into the tight spaces by turning into a gas, or casting enlarge/reduce too
