So it's not quite a soulslike game. OK, but how does it compare to soulslikes in terms of difficulty and grind? Those are the reasons I stay away from these games.
This game reminds me of sekiro, which also is a masterpiece
Not to say the game play bad, infact it great! But the cold hard fact this ga m e is owned by China CCP leave a bad tast in my mouth! It's not a indy company or start game publisher, but a political run government that want to see others fail and get paid for it! Not only that but China is very strict on its gaming! Beware what you buy, you may give your info to the wrong people!
I need help. Souls like games have always been a challenge for me (skill based challenge lmao). Really attracted to this games story and lore…. Will I suck at it and therefore dislike it?
Being a first big game for this developer, it's really good. I've only had the time to play about 5 hours or so, but it's been fun. I'm going to say this, and just be aware I'm saying it without being malicious: this is Sekiro with extra steps. I mean it in a good way. The branching paths is reminisce of Dark Souls, but more than anything it's very much like Sekiro. I'd recommend it if you haven't pulled the trigger yet.

im actually so upset ive been waiting for this game FOREVER i always loved chinese myhtology and mythology in general so u know i was exited to see the story but it was jus boss after boss after boss so many mess ups with map glitching u boss glitching threw bricks n trees n all for someone like me who loves story i wouldnt get this game.

I don't understand why this game has been compared to a souls-like. This looks more like GoW 4 to me sans the puzzle elements.
In that first boss fight shown, was that a pool of blood you walk into?
I hate these kind of videos. It's so cringe, and they're so thirsty for views to make money. Just get a real job. And you guys go out and get the game it's a lot of fun. Everything I saw in development is in it and very well polished. Don't always get your panties in a knot with ratings and opinions. Look at some play throughs and decide for YOURSELVES if you like it or not. Don't let somebody else make that decision for you.
