I found it very, very boring. I'm a big HP fan and love playing games but this, to me, failed in almost every aspect except the graphics and being able to collect Fantastic Beasts. Story was boring, there was no actual schoolsystem (considering it's called HOGWARTS legacy, I would have expected it to be much more focused on the actual schoollife). Combat was very easy and repetitive and don't get me started on the Demiguise hunt. I looked forward to this game sooo much, wishlisted the Deluxe edition immediatly and played it at 72 hour early access and all that. I put 26 hours in, so definitly gave it a chance but it's just… disappointing.
Ultimately it's for Harry Potter fans. So any other gamers are of course going to have some issue with it.

when we loose someone, we appricate every shadow of them, that we find.
how do you call a community of shadow ghosts?
I think about creation, a person subjecting their life to the creation of parts in a mirror world,
a collection of books,movies,games that share the story,images,bahavior,tech.
The story's survival in the pool of mankind is strengthened by larger amounts of absorbed creations.
Overwhelming In a Good Way.
Entering a game, a world, with so much investment of time and creation. considering all stories are based on pervious ones or and on a mirror of reality, there is so much depth!
Unlike the bad phrase "if you pear into the dark, the dark pears into you",
I beleive "If one manages to understand relations in the outside world, then that understanding will impact one's internal world to a degree"
So, it really feels like the word "commitment" becomes relevant for the user, the more creation was invested in the game's world.

Something i hate of this game are the cutscenes/transitions. Always black screen and then goes to the other character. It´s not fluent at all

I think just because I'm a huge Harry Potter/Fantastic Beasts fan I would buy this game anyway. I do hope they make a Fantastic Beasts game where you carry a suitcase that has different magical animals to use depending on what your mission is… that would be a game I could get into.
I have to say I´m not a huge Harry Potter fan, I've watched the movies only once, but man i LOVE the game, I'm 38 and I think playing this as a kid would be super amazing, I mean, as an adult I'm really enjoying the game, but I can't think how would I enjoy playing it as a kid. Combat, quests, exploring, all is great.

I've never watched or read Harry Potter but this game was fire
I have played the old "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" game and i quiet enjoyed it (at that time)
But i really wanted to play a good "Harry Potter" game and gave up after some time.
I went in with no expectations and play "Hogwarts Legacy" and when i tell you that i loved it, i mean it. I don't even like rpg games but this one just made me so happy and i'm glad i purchased it.
Really like the game, the first open world game in years where I don't get bored in a few hours. The world is amazing, graphics are great and runs decent on PC. If you liked the movies or the books this is a now brainer! Did not expect Avalanche to pull it off.
