This is crazily accurate!! HAHAHHAHAHA I'm apparently at stage 4…. long way to go. I hated the whole game because fighting was so hard and i was peeing my pants each time there's a guardian music. hahahahah. I literally hated the game… but everybody seemed to just love the game that I got so confused, and found out that I just sucked, and I need to grow up and live up to Link's potential. HAHAH. Now my goal in life is to become a lore-accurate link.
I didn't know there was much more after defeating ganon and moved on to TOTK. I still struggle to defeat lynels too, i can only beat the red ones without much struggle. I did, however, complete every shrine.
I'm on stage 5. Almost have the gear to go try the lynel
My first botw play through was so cooked(I’d watched a few videos prior to playing so had an inkling of what I wanted to do), after the paraglider and hating the shrines to get it I went straight to Hyrule castle got the hylean shield and good gear then to Korok forest and did an exploit to get the master sword with three hearts.
Then went and did all 4 divine beasts(never went to Kakariko)with three hearts, and exchanged the heart containers gifted from each for stamina vessels 🥴
After that I decided to buy the DLC and grind everything I hadn’t done besides the story 💀
i still didn't make it out of the great plateau

I’ve just played it for like 10 days and I have 8 hearts and a half full 2nd stamina wheel and I’ve unlocked the entire map

Getting the korok mask and wandering around waiting till it starts giggling and then looking under every rock for a korok is my stage.

My stages:
1. Sit there and contemplate the words that are coming out of the old man's mouth
2. Replay the game about 13 times within the span of a couple months because I forgot the miniscule bit of story that I saw
3. Play the game about 5 years after its release to find out that it's really good and I was just stupid before
4. Actually finish the story and say to myself "Imma 100% this!" (I couldn't get past any of the high strength shrines… while having decent weapons from the minor and moderate ones)
5. My favorite, and where I am now, restart the game and beat the story within a week. Begin to love the game so much that I actually complete all shrines, get around 400 koroks so far, do around half of the side quests, and am about to restart totk because I did the same thing as the first 3 steps with that one too.
Overall, it's a decent game, deserved the 700 hours put into it by me 👍 (still, hollow knight is better than all games imo, but this is pretty far up there)

Actually, my game progression went nothing like this. I got all the memories and all the shrines before I beat ganon the first time. In fact, none of these stages applied to me, so I guess I don't have to subscribe now. :p (jk)
My 2nd stage i'm gonna call the: Power hungry cheating god, i glitched max hearts max stamina, skipped ALL trial of the sword, got the hylian sheild, and then freed all divine beasts

You forgot stage eleven: relaxing travel. All i do anymore is ride the master cycle around hyrule. No quests, no combat, just ride around. A lot of other people do that to.
