Forspoken Review

Cut the story out, cut out the dialogue, add some more biome and enemy variety. Boom, instant 8/10.

This game review nailed it over it’s parkour fast moving ability. I often felt i had terrible control moving about and in tight spaces it was worst because they didn’t adjust the way she moves when in tight spaces. The combat itself was lackluster. I personally found it annoying to switch between spells but it was probably not challenging for everyone to switch spells. Mainly, i don’t think i enjoyed the kind of magic spells the game offered and they probably should have reused spells from the final fantasy games. The game was very flashy in how to move around but also the heavy earth spell or fire spell when holding the button down you see her basically stuck where she is until the spell is complete instead of hitting button, dropping spell, and getting out of the enemy’s way.

Never like teenage personality that flipfloping to much on self important and selfpity, and she really fall into that polarity imo. I rather play character with childish personality like naruto, am not even a fan of naruto, actually hate that filler show but childish dreams are sometimes restore some of your faith in humanity.

This is what happens when a game is all looks but no substance

Strange comparison but look at games like Hollow Knight made by 3 people and having 100times the substance of this

Interactive movie more like, awful awful AWFUL game…..

So, a simple disjointed narrative, dumped in strange exposition, with an unlikeable protagonist set in a beautiful, but strangely barren world… where the only fun is the combat.

Even though both games have the same weaknesses. I guess that if you made the combat harder on Forspoken it would merit a higher score?

I downloaded the demo, but I haven't made time to play it, but I guess some things haven't reached a high potential, so I won't think about buying it yet.

Honestly the more I think about it the more this game reminds me of Rage 2.

So basically, it is as good as Final Fantasy 15, just different. I really disliked ff15. There were a lot of good elements, but came together in a way that was a let down. It had a lack luster incomplete story in game. The combat was fluid with no weight or precision. Then, everything wasn't all that challenging. The only challenging parts were strictly numbers based and not skill based. Basically this game is the same with different characters and story is what it seems?

It that a UBISOFT game ?

Another Square Enix flop after a series of disasters including babylons fall and avengers (shutting down) and selling most of their IPs and studios like Tomb raider and Deux Ex for chump change. Their only games are Final Fantasy and if that doesn’t sell well they’re DONE.

Wait a few months, 15 euro's 2nd hand, some patches that fix some issues in the game.
