Killing all the Lynels has been the height of my BOTW gameplay. I don't know why but it gives me more satisfaction than defeating the Blights and Ganon.

Another reason why it's handy to mount a Lynel is because your weapon does not lose any durability when you're mounted. So you can use your best weapon without worrying about it breaking!
