Is all about opinions. My opinion the game is mediocre and overhyped. Graphically, it is beautiful. But the gameplay is boring. And that's my opinion being on the last chapter of the game .

I love cats but four hours ain't long enough.
After grinding out tedious 120 hours on Valhalla, Stray was a very enjoyable change of pace. The story was really pleasant. A dedicated meow button is just so cool! Really enjoyed Stray. I took my time and ran 7 hours. Loved this game.
Does 24$ sound expensive for this game? That is the Appstore price for an M1 MacBook air. Also hows the performance for an M1 device with this game?

I love the concept of a realistic animal simulator in a fictional world just doing what those animals do k hope it becomes more of i thing . i think it could even make for good Disney-like story driven game. Like a symbiotic friendship adventure between a cat & a great horned owl could be cool & pull on heart strings. Two animals who kinda look similar but live in very different worlds and learn to understand each other & rely on each other without words. What the cat can't do, the owl can. what the owl can't do, the cat can.

This game is the best game i ever played. The story, the controller vibrations, the puzzles, the maps, the environment. This is the game i needed. Many parts were emotional and the vibe was insane

I was telling my wife about this game. She loves cats. So glad this came to the Xbox. She doesn’t play but she enjoys watching me play it. I really was just playing it for her enjoyment now I kinda like it. Lol brilliant game.

In case anyone is looking for a completionist opinion, someone who likes to 100% stuff – it's very fun, rather easy, and not overly long. Platinum took me a little over 13 hours, including a second playthrough for the "beat the game under 2 hours" achievement. After beating the game, you can select any chapter you want to hunt down remaining trophies, there wasn't much stress involved, aside from one action-oriented achievement in the second chapter, and really after getting platinum, I'll still play the game again some time later, because of how fun and beautiful it was 🙂 totally worth it.
Got it for christmas and just completed it. It is insanely good – highly recommend!

Just finished. It’s a great game. It did leave me for wanting more. I also would have preferred an ending that wrapped things up a tad more with the characters. Nice review.
Love how this game made me feel. I was immersed the entire time I played. My only negative was the length as well, i feel that could have added a bit more background. I beat it all in one night during 5hrs and I’m not sure if the replay-ability yet
