It's easily a 9/10. Amazing game. The score, the visuals, the combat, everything is exactly how it should be. And let's be honest, every gamer who is also a harry potter fan, already bought it. The rest of the people either don't have a good enough hardware to play this, don't like HP or just don't enjoy this type of game.
I fall into a HP fan category and this review is so wrong imho. Every con you listed could be argued and turned into a pro. It's all about context. Anyone who played this game knows, that it's different than the way this guy tries to describe it.
Did not buy this game because of your review got a copy at a great price and just finished it. I will say it is not perfect game but it was a lot of fun, to say the least 6/10 is harsh. I think at least 8/10 would be fair compared to other games that I have played that are also not perfect got a better rating makes it hard to trust your reviews. I am not the biggest Harry Potter fan I enjoyed the first 4 but I am not a fan boy. You review games and you should do so fairly I do not agree with Rowling's comments but also think you review games fairly. So I just unsubscribed.
After putting almost 50 hour into the game, I can confidently say that this reviewer hit the nail in the head, BLOAT!

This game got burned so hard and then finalized with Rowling being transphobic. Sounds like someone is just bitter. Good thing the games sales were as good as the game itself!
Ive completed the main story on the nintendo switch. A 10/10 for me. Loved it
This is an amazing game. It's an open world filled with puzzles and mystery. A dream of every potterhead. You may think it is barren, but the details of every area are gorgeous. I think this is not the cup of tea of the reviewer.

Why are people simping so hard for this game? It's just Fable with a Harry Potter filter, but none of your decisions matter… It's fun to play, but not revolutionary or special in any way. 6/10 means above average and worth playing. That's a completely reasonable score.

Coming as someone who’s played the game past into the fall season ingame, I’m getting a sense that the reviewer is not a potter fan, played the game in a rush to meet a deadline, viewed the game through a cold hearted lens and didn’t really let himself enjoy the game.
Putting aside the politics, It’s only natural to feel as though the game is repetitive or nauseous if you’re forced to grind the game 12-16 hours to beat the game quickly to make a review earlier than the rest.
This is actually the first review that makes sense of my feelings. Is a good game, but definetly they have potential to make an absolute incredible beast and they lost the shot in repetitiveness.

The only thing this game is missing is some polishing here and there and somebody who knows how to tell a story I suggest they take ques from God of war Because they took everything good about horizon 0 dawn and the Witcher and put it in this game.

6 hours in, and I have to say that perhaps you where the wrong person to review this game. I am not even a hairy potter fan….in fact….I consider Harry potter to be the kiddy version of Lord of the Rings…..but this game is VERY entertaining. Memorable character, detailed open world, great visuals. Not sure what else to say. Everyone has an opinion, but the one being presented here is counted in the minority….
