Full remaster of a full remake tbh
I was 9 when this first came out. 1998 I was 11 and I tried my very best to play this game. On my own at night mum sleeping. Step dad out with his freinds and his ps1 all to myself.
The doors unlocked so he can get back in. Ide be terrified but really crave it. Really want to play it. No memory card though step dad hid those so ide always start new game.
With the biggest knife from the kitchen next to me. But ide still NOPE TF outter there at the first zombie. Finally I got brave enough to see that through. But never made it past the 2nd zombie even though I knew where he was I knew the start off by heart but by the time I get to zombie two im just having panic attacks imagining zombies bursting through my doors and windows. So ide go load up gran tourism and tell myself its all OK. Im being silly. But still scared stepDad get home around 3am and drag me to bed.

I tried to play this game again when I was 21 or so but still couldn't do it. It affected me lol. I know its the camera angles too. Not being able to see where you want to look. Knowing you will walk right into the things. That's what made it extra scary imo.
I smashed resident evil 5 like it was nothing. Bcos it was nothing compared to the first 3.
