AI art is leaking into the mainstream in the form of stable diffusion and Lensa, but there are serious ethical concerns with this …

on a lighter note, Merry Christmas my children 🙂
he should have done at least a little research into how tokens and transformer models work before making this video.. this is so disconnected from how AI works that it cringe. Why would he do this?
AI is killing the artist community.
I have to agree disagreeing. If AI models kill artists, there will be no artist to train them, so AI models are much more fragile than artists who don't need AI to train them. Humans can evolve on their own while machines need humans to learn. Humans can apply art directly in the real world while machines can only do so in their specific digital world. Machines can read the tools and color palettes but do not understand the techniques and how to use them. A machine never touched grass so it ill be in an eternal art block. The secret is to draw very bad, for the next 5-10 years so the AI becomes so mediocre that those idiots stop investing in them.
9:18 reddit somehow has worst people then Twitter
The funny thing is just plain ole computer programs and technology is good enough to create for creative people and artists. Hell plain ole analog equipment is good enough and in some cases better. Just how Fuckn uncreative do you have to be, to have some other entity or species or intelligence whatever the fuck you like to call it, create the damn shit for you? That is the real issue and truth here!
Hating AI art is like bragging you have a small penis. Get a real job or find a new hobby. You are obsolete.
If artists weren't so derivative and horrible, they wouldn't be threatened.
Fun fact: no one cares 😮
Here iswhat I will say I totally agree and it is not the best but in the future, we won’t use AI just to take over all of our work we could just use it as a tool
To save time with code or small designs, we will not use it to take over all of our job
I’m never going to feed my art to ai. It’ll just stay in my sketch book. I hope humanity burns out tbh there isn’t much human left in it
So this is about copyright. Money money money. Where is my money. I thought so. Let's separate that from the joy of learning and creating. Before AI there was forgery in art. Most people do not even try to use an artist name. Whoever wants to steal does it AI or not. You missing on how AI is aiding people with learning how to draw or how people are helping their own Art with AI. I think your copyright argument is self serving and not seeing beyond money.
Fuck AI. Its not just the art, its EVERYWHERE. I wish ai didnt exist
I hate it with a passion
AI is theft; whatever it is. It takes the creativity of individuals' work, steals it, and makes something else. It's akin to plagiarism.
At some point the AI will be training on AI generated Art and screw it's self over
Cry Me. A River! I'm a Museo, they stopped paying for music years ago!
I am pro ai art and anti gatekeepers artists.
This is disgusting. End AI art !!! I’m on your side as a fellow artist. I pray that we can end this
I’m still young I do not want to be in a world run by robots
❤❤❤❤ thank you Sam!
I grew up in Michigan and you guys sound just like the old shop heads did when they brought in more and more automation. I’ll say to you what was said to them “learn to code” I have been an artist for my whole life. the people looking for AI art more than likely weren’t going to pay for a real artists work anyway.
Ai art is everywhere, somebody stop Ai art
0:05:30 – This is because there aren't mega corporations with an interest in art, but they sure do have an interest in protecting the music they own. The double standard is due to corporate greed.
Fear of change
Case close
This is a serious issue, thanks for sharing your thoughts
Legally these ai artists deserve to be sued for all the damages they’ve caused
I agree to a point but where you lose me is that If I am an artist with some talent. But I am a kid so I am just growing with abilities and I am looking for what kind of art I want to draw. I might see some art by a specific person and think "wow! I love that style!" and then I go to learn more about it and maybe watch a youtube video of that artist creating their art and I practice doing the same thing so I have the "style" figured out. Then I go on to make my own unique stuff. Am I not allowed to do that? What If I become obsessed with Bob Ross episodes and learn to paint happy little accidents and enjoy making art for people and selling it online. It is my art, I made it. My own hands held the brushes. But it looks like a Bob Ross painting. Am I not allowed to do that? So if your stuff is being scraped off the internet, the AI learns how to replicate your style, then folds it into a huge clump of art data and I come along and type "Draw me a picture of a butter fly on the end of a finger of a child" and it creates an image that has never existed before, do you really have the right to claim it? The AI learned from you the same way an artist learns from another artist. So this is where I think you just have to deal with it. This is the future. Nobody is going to watch your video and stop using AI art generators. There is a reason artists are called "starving artists". Throughout all of human history they didn't earn any money. So get a day job. Oh but wait, you have 1.3 million views on this video. You have 1.48 million subscribers. I am sure you are doing just fine. You are not starving.
If the art looks identical then the artist who made the AI art violated copywrite if they present it as their work. If the AI image looks different than any other qork then the AI artist has not violated copywrite. The software does not violate copywrite since it is a tool to make art, not art itself.
this why abstract is popular
0:58 collecting people's works does not and should not require permission.
Never mind the artists that have work already put out there! Try starting up from scratch: NOT GONNA HAPPEN!
The market is being flooded with synthetic art and music, and as if that weren't enough, people make autonomous youtube channels that automatically generate content! And here's the real shocker: people comment on their stuff telling them how nice their work is! Some people can't even tell the difference anymore! This is so goddam frustrating!
Ban synthetic intelligence for the greater good of mankind.
Well we are coming
Ai artists
You will be replaced or be changed
This things always happen in the history
Ai vs artists
Israel vs Palestine's children
AI steals art
israel steals souls

Very weak arguments. If you think your work has been plagiarised – take it to the court. If not, what's your problem?
This is really no different from how you would treat a human artist who uses your works as a studying reference.
This one dude i met on a videogame got so pressed and said very foul personal things to me because i jokingly made fun of his phone case that had AI generated art that he "poured his heart and soul into making" aka typed in "butterfly" then spent like 5 minutes scrolling looking for art💀
Bro you literally CONSENT for your works to be viewed and learned from by PUBLISHING them, also already 30 seconds in and you're wrong about ML needing those datasets to be able to perform…. it's a shortcut that spares us from wasting decades on creating those models without "high quality datasets", are you asking people to waste gigantic amounts on energy when you can do the same thing way quicker and for the benefit of humanity? Also why don't you publish how much your instagram followage has grown ever since the release of Stable Diffusion?
As an artist, i see Ai art as my enemy.
We all artists should come together and ban ai art.
AI art, explained. ? What's to explain It is not real art in the sense of what Is conceived to be art by an artist which is a being a soul, spirit, or spiritual entity, It was created by Artificial means no being or soul, spirit, or spiritual entity. The programmer of the AI or developer gave parameters but that's it the AI gleaned whatever is or was available that fit the parameters to assemble a picture based on those parameters, not the programmer.
TLDR: Because everyone hawking commissions online will now be put out of business and have to go and get a real job.
The thing is those kids hate the fact that they can't draw. Ai is saving their asses. That's why they are defending it with no logic. There's a reason why they are so salty to real artists.
Gosh! Why they are so hateful to their own kind? For what? Something that can't even feel or have a brain! It can't even generate anything creative without an input from a human.
The crazy thing is how many people get sued from Warner chappel for using just a tiny sound bite from a song they own for their own remixes, and yet artists can have their artwork remixed by a machine and no one seems to care about the ethics of that…
only thing artists and ai have in common is neither are good with hands
who cares about your work..you are just going bizzrk becasue your work or carrer will be gone soon….the thing you learn over a decade now i can do that with just a couple of prompts, and ovio you are just being jealous that those companies making billions, you are not.
