I've got the game and played as far as the first time you have to go through the city looking for crime I absolutely hate this game they make finding the crime way too difficult you have to listen for the sound of gunfire there should be something that pops up on the map when the gun fire starts going off that lets you know where to go but you're blind
how any of them can focus with batgirl slaying 24/7 is beyond me

Tbh I’m enjoying this game… sure it’s not perfect but a game nonetheless.
Stupid to reboot instead of just ending with Arkam Knight, you already had the Knightfall Protocol, it was DONE and finished. In any case I can tell by the gameplay it's crap, looks like Avengers or some shit, not an Arkham game (which if it's not trying to be, it should).
Was really excited for this game but I think I will pass. Thanks for the review. Maybe if they make a sequel with improvements.

I played this game through non-stop. I started off excited, got angry it wasn't like arkham, but felt a little better with each cut-scene, then I realized what it could have been and got sad. But then I was happy just to be back into the Batman world, and really did enjoy the game. I have never felt so emotional towards a game, if I was female, this MUST be what a period feels like. It is a good game, I literally couldn't stop playing it even when not happy with it, so that alone says a lot. But damn, we need an Arkham and there is no replacement for Batman I realized while playing this as well. NONE. Not even Spiderman did it for me, despite being great games. Oh and if you are wondering, yes Spiderman is better than this, but Spiderman doesn't compare to Arkham games. In closing, the game is a good game, for sure, it has enough to make you enjoy being back in the Batman universe, but the salt remains. There is less beauty here even compared to the 1st Arkham game, that should tell you enough. It bodies it every single category from story, atmosphere, etc. etc. Shit, I'm emotionally unstable now just writing this. The combat system once you get used to it, is fun, that I definitely promise you. And know you start off as basically not even being able to fly WTF WHY WHY WHY I can't stop rambling, doctor is coming to get me now, must resist maybe I shouldn't have played this at all.

I don’t know why everyone is being so critical of this game. I’m genuinely loving it, and it’s been a while since I said that about a game. I never played an Arkham game, so maybe that’s why I enjoy it. The only thing I don’t like is the lack of diversity in side quests.
Finished the game with level 30 , loved all the stories and gameplay/combos/effects , deffo the best in the IP. Shame about the optimization but nontheless it's a memorable game !

Locked to 30 FPS, well, locked for a reason, 4090 can handle 45 FPS with this garbage. That 30FOS alone makes this game 4/10
Teenage Mutant Ninja Bats! If you think enemies are damage sponges, you must not have leveled up Batgirl enough. I accidentally kill informants all the time cause she's such a beast🥴. 3 hits and dead somehow. Fun game!!

Think I'll come to this channel for now on for game reviews, too many people out there who bring their own whiny and entitled opinions when all I want to know is if it's a decent game to play or not. I also respect how he doesn't speak to the audience like an MIT class, droning on about polygons and other technobabble.

Dunno, I got it thought it was fairly interesting to go through with a few friends, there's content there to get your moneys worth and some interesting stuff, but this almost feels as a "Games as a Service" title and if they do go that route this might be rlly good a year from now 😀 .
Do keep in mind, AMD Cards have issues in very specific areas, strait up CTD's, so might wanna wait for an update/new driver build before trying it out if ur an AMD user.
I love it, but I also am extremely disappointed. I just don’t see why they would kill if Batman so quickly. Jason is this brawler who is very slow and heavy. To me Tim Drake is my favorite because of how he moves. The stories are amazing, and the fact that Cops hate you is cool. Puts you more in the Vigilante role. I just think Batman should have never been killed off
the way Batman dies is stupid because he'd never give up that easily so they made needlessly Batman die just to give the less popular character's the spotlight
For anyone who needs it: I’ve had this game 3 days now, I honestly have to say I really like this game.
I think the issue is we compare to Arkham games when in fact it’s nothing to do with it, not even a sequel. I found myself comparing as I was playing. Once I got past that and started to treat this as a stand-alone I started to get into it.
In terms of 30fps, there was ONE moment it dipped in the opening cutscene. After that it’s never happened again.
I like the combat, story, cool moments with characters that feel like a movie. Like any game things could be better, only thing I dislike is traversal at times is a bit clunky.
I’d give this a 7.5 out of 10. I don’t understand the campaign against this game, don’t be a sheep grab a copy 👍🏽
Give us a batman beyond game!
The story is one of the games greatest strengths? The other reviews I've watched said it was predictable and dull and was full of plot holes. Bodes well for the rest of the game then
The UI and menus are so clunky and poorly implemented. Holding down the touchpad to bring up the map gets old, the R1/L1 and R2/L2 functions seeming to be backwards is frustrating. Just a poor system, top to bottom.
