Sonic Frontiers brings the Blue Blur to new horizons. And while it has problems, it’s by far the most enjoyable and ambitious 3D …

Sonic Frontiers was The Shit!
PSA: the literal translation of hedgehog from swedish to english is Leechcone, you are welcome!
FINALLI A GOOD SONIC GAME
0:31 TRULY AMAZING
Pretty accurate review Brad and even as someone who is used to and likes the franchise overall, I agree with a lot of takes here. The game has been so much fun that a lot of the flaws have felt pretty minor, minus the buggy camera.
pop ins so distraction no acceptable on PC.
I miss GameTrailers
The only review that matters, folks.
I’ll take a 7.5. I’m buying it tomorrow!
Please review Trails from Zero pc version!
Swimming in 7's.
16 hours, and only "several hours" more to do everything? Get out.
there's been a few years since i last saw an EZA video, i thought Brandon Jones had left, does he still VO the reviews? Anyways, i'm glad he's still around in some form, always a joy to hear him in the review
Just a suggestion: there are multiple, obvious framerate drops peppered throughout your review. I thought they should be mentioned.
Also, you mention that there is a Quality (4k/30fps) and Performance mode (60fps). What res does Perfomance mode run at, 1080p or 1440p?
Do you know what they say it’s not a real game unless it has problems
this looks boring and uninspired … like all Sonic 3Ds.
Наконец-то вышел правильный Sonic в 3D! ☺️ ведь что самое главное в играх про синего ежа? 🤔 – это нон-стоп скоростной геймплей! 😏👍🔥
I'll get it on sale, or in a massive Sega-bundle on Steam.
This is a well done review, it’s fair, not overly nice yet tough but not too opinionated, im noticing reviewers have styles, this one is the best one I’ve heard,
So its a pretty standard sonic game cause lets face it, sonic's were always mediocre at best
I don't know how to feel about "a step in the right direction" kind of praise, it is like pokemon for the last few games, not great, but it can be in the future, but then it keeps being the same thing everytime and it continues being a step in the right direction without actually achieving greatness, just mediocre if you strip that statement away.
Thats actually really good considering what Sonic Team has put out in the past. Thanks for the consideration.
The should not have been a 7.5
Based on what I've seen and heard…. I'd personally give this a 6.0. I feel like game reviewers are too forgiving b/c the industry considers anything below a 7.0 to be "bad".
I haven't been a fan of Sonic since Sonic 2. They should have just retired him after Sonic & Knuckles.
Can't wait to get this. Need a game that's just a damn game lol
Cool 😎 beans
why does sonic keep shoving Chaos emeralds up his ass?
Can't wait
THE SOUNDTRACK ON THIS GAME SLAPS SO HARD GOD
"Hearts for amy"
A lot of bad 3 d games tô reach this one. Finally some decent.
Oh yeah, let's go swimming
With the horrible first showing it got at IGN, I'm incredibly happy Frontiers is getting a solid reception. I remember doubting Huber when he said the game would probably get somewhere in the 7-8/10 range critically, but am super happy to be proven wrong.
7.5 is a really good score for a 3d sonic game
did you know that sonic had a rough transition to 3d??
Gamers (like me…) enjoy this type of noastalgia and re-invention. We also need something that tells stories that are not so depndant on marketing though. Games hey
