I wonder if they’ll flesh out Bowser that he is not just some bad guy, but he is actually a guy just trying to unite all the kingdoms with the star power.
Any kingdom that refuses has to battle his army. But he’s probably trying to save the world from an even greater threat (like Master Hand perhaps?)
People just seem like they really wanna hate Chris Pratt, seems to be failing because I wanna watch this movie either way

Chris doesn't deserve the flack for being cast as Mario, it's not really his fault for a company to type cast people because of their image than their talent.
I got whiplash when I saw Anya and Jack Black next to each other, literally looks like 2 different art styles.
Nintendo: one more thing. Go to new York and see how big Mario's feet are in real life
People makes fun of Seth voice and laugh, but it's works alot for DK to be honest even the laugh sounds like a gorilla laughing already. And Chris sounds sooo much better here, and to be honest, I prefer his voice now than the original Mario games voice (for a movie)

As someone who grew up playing Mario on the NES and SNES and now having my own kid who loves playing Mario with me on his Switch, all I can say is I hope this movie is fantastic. Jokes about the VAs aside, I want this to be a really good Mario movie and I hope everyone else would want this as well. I want my kids to see it and be even more excited about the games. It's a really big bonding topic for us and while he explores this stuff, I get to help him learn about the history and how it all came to be. I want this movie to be one more good memory we can share together. Here's to hoping that Illumination and Nintendo do a great job.
It's wild to me that this movie actually looks good.
It's possibly a reference to the fortune teller shop from A Link to the Past or something similar in the Mario games, and people are having paradolia and seeing it as goatse like my cited example.

What's so weird to me about the boot thing is that there literally is an ACTUAL iconic "Mario boot", it's the giant green jump boot from Mario 3. Why you wouldn't do that instead and just make his normal-ass brown shoe is beyond me.
Imagine how much cooler it'd be if they made a replica of the green jump boot that you could stand inside and take a picture with. lol I mean it wouldn't be groundbreaking, but it'd be cool and fun.
So Illumination barely had Mario speak a single line in the new trailer… I wonder why 🤔🤔🤔

I love the cover of the underground theme that was used for bowsers dungeon. These directors seem to be putting a lot of heart into this movie. Hopefully it doesn’t flop upon release
