For some reason I cannot use my shield when I go in that first door to that little flower thing even though I'm holding my shield that the decu nuts is still hitting me

One more thing. You missed the 20 deku stick upgrade from lost woods deku sales man. You need an additional 40 rupees and deku shield. But you can get the upgrade before deku tree.

Oh man im currently doing this on my own. Pulled master sword. Now there is ton you can do before forest temple. Gerudo fortress, ice cavern and even the whole fire temple.
