I agree with him on Romulus being too long. 20 minutes less and a finale with a freakin XENOMORPH as the movie's title implies would have made this into a masterpiece.

The ending was still too long-winded. It felt forced and failed to keep the initial energy. After a while i was "alright already!".
Otherwise, pretty entertaining. I also felt like i was playing Dead Space. Pretty familiar feeling. Maybe an inspiration for some scenes? Who knows.

This movie is absolutely sh*thouse. Its just cinematic faeces, frankly. Ridley Scott is a sell out and I've embarrassed myself recommending it to my friends to come with me to watch it. It has zero quality and walked pissed at the end. Just garbage through and through.
Alien Romulus is UTTER GARBAGE – just saw it yesterday, was talked into going. No redeeming features. Worst film I ever saw at the cinema, not kidding.
Was not a fan of this one. My least favorite of all 7. It is a derivitave. Added nothing new and felt extremely safe. Rain was pretty lame final girl. 🙁

I saw it with an open mind but was quickly disappointed. Most characters were awful and annoying. Many scenes looking like those from Alien and Aliens , but the last Alien was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Could have been much better and I should have waited for the DVD. Very few in cinema which was a BIG surprise.

Also thanks to Cameron, who continued his legacy with same quality in Aliens!
They could make a trilogy story of the engineers home planet next.
They need to explore that world and location in the cosmos.
