d4 has enough content per season to last for 10 days. then it absolutely effin sucks on day 11. hit a rock-solid wall. rinse and repeat. and pit has no ladder. got to 110 and no urge to push. d4 right now is in a horrible spot, so i hope 2.0 can fix some of that.
I stopped playing about 3 months after launch. I reinstalled it today, ran it for a few minutes and decided I didn't actually want to play it. We'll see if this video changes my mind.

Season 5 is a blast for me ! Nothing for months, but with seasons I am fine 😅 every couple months it’s a great experience

Man i just started playing Diablo 4 (about 10 hours) and this guy is talking hella gibberish 😂 doesnt help he speaks so fast. Anyway, the game doesnt really explain stuff very well idk i might drop it if it gets needlessly complex.
After watching a bunch of videos of you on D4 and waiting until now to play it…I love it a lot. Got it on sale on steam and Im glad I waited. Can’t wait for the spiritborn.
P.S. Just wanted to say thx for playing D1 man…such a classic. If you ever can find a copy or a darn key get the D1 expansion made by Sierra games I believe called Hellfire
As a player which played in the betas and since season 0 i have to say that my reason to break from the game is that even though every season has nice new features im tired of going in the same exact map, enemies and dungeons. In diablo 3 at least the rifts changed every time randomly

I have played all the diablos all my life. When this first came out I just couldn’t get a character past like 60. Been worried to get back in as a now casual gamer with little time.
Guy buys Pokemon, waits weeks in Palette Town to raise his Pikachu from lvl5 to lvl100.
Starts playing, beats everything, finishes the game.

For me the biggest shortcoming in Diablo 4 is not being able to re-do the campaign once you beat the campaign on Tier 1 or 2.
Redoing the campaign from scratch with your now geared character on higher difficulties has been a main feature on Diablo games since D1. It bugs me to no end Blizz didn't include this on D4. Such a pity considering the campaign is quite good.
Isn't that the story behind Diablo at this point? I have been interested in this game, but after D3, I figured I would completely ignore it for the first year and then it would be good.
Is there a single player story mode?
For people like me who will never play the same content over and over?

Season 5, more of the samne. Hardly interesting. This game remains somewhat of a snooze fest.
I and many still havent forgive them for their scummy practices during pre season. They lose so many after they forced it down your throat the idea that this game is not suppose to be fun but an exploit of your time and money.

Love Diablo always hated Season wipes because its always been Trash, Back in the D2 days we played Lan we had no internet, so there was no season wipes, never played Season 1-4 but i will try Season 5

I don't understand what's the point of having levels at all in a game where everything from level 1 to 99 is focusing on get to that level 100 to only then finally start playing for real. Just give everyone max level from the get go or remove levels altogether if they're supposed to just be some pointless slog to get through. At first there was no endgame and now there's no early and mid game. I mean, just amazing.
I just started again after quitting around season 1 and the game is sooo much better. I'm hooked on it and play 6 hours straight sometimes 😂

I'm a casual player, bought early access to Diablo IV at a discount and played through the main story. Did the story continue in the seasons or are those just end game grinding? I haven't played since I completed the first playthrough because I'm not interested in grinding for gear. I'm really only interested in the story, which was pretty good. Is there any reason for me to get back into the game?

Played d1 d2 n d3, d2 was best but 3 had its own charm too hoping good things for d4.
I see this argument a lot "Theres so much to do at the end of D4, though what more do you want" I would rather have 3 things to do with substance like in D2 than 10 things without substance like in D4. I like D4, but I get bored af at level 100. Even with all the things to do. I play more for the lore and worldbuilding coupled with gameplay. D2 was sick b/c you fought 5/7 prime evils. D3 You fought The other 2 lesser evils we didn't see in D2, and Prime Evil Diablo. I did Echo of Lilith and Uber Dur and Uber Andy that's enough for me lol. I would prefer magic find items to help you find rare items, and then from there runes that are super rare that craft powerful items that help you with the Hell mode bosses. Uber Tristram was icing on the cake. Baal, cool af. Diablo, cool af. Outside of Andariel, Duriel, and Lilith, I can't even remember any of the other endbosses names.
But to be fair, if you enjoy the game, that's great. Don't let other people's opinions of it spoil your fun. I have a lot of fun with the leveling, but endgame just can't get into. This is my order. For gameplay D2 > D3 > D1 > D4 – For story D1 > D2 > D3 > D4.
Id play the game constantly if you didnt need to make a new character every single season. I wish they just let you choose a character or make a new one. There isn't a single objectively good reason against it.
Remember when they used cherry picked images to claim you could look just as cool with in game drops as the shop? Most people bought it, and it should be clear now that was a massive lie.
i played the "free weekend" , the SECOND i reached lvl 20 it kicked me out, disabled the option to play it, no lvl cap at lvl 20 no, insta kick

Diablo 4 has all the ways to be the best diablo game weve had period.
It has the over world, it has dungeons, it has more events, it has many interesting side quests and story lines. The game itself is actually fairly pretty.
It does a lot of things wrong, but it also does a lot of things right. Which is largely why a lot of the diablo fans are very heart broken about this game.
The art team, the story team and the acting team really did a fucking amazing job with the game but the game play team really had a lot of misses. If they could just refine the game play this will be a truly great game
I just refunded on steam because it’s just so easy and boring. I don’t see a point in keeping playing if nothing changes. My first 3 minutes of gameplay is gonna look the same 12 hours later past lvl 42. I even think the campaign is a slog

I've played the Diablo franchise since it's very first iteration and I'm not gonna lie I just can't get into D4. I've tried multiple times and something about it just sucks. I just launched the game after like 9 months of not touching it and all I did was run around for a minute and exit the game again. I just can't get into it.
For me the question is always how long does it enjoy and entertain and how soon does it start to literally stealing my lifetime. And esp. the second aspect is mostly bound to Blizzards attempts to push microtrans and earning money to the limits. So I was a player of the 1st hour and meanwhile ceased the game completely.
D4 is boring for me. Dinamic mob levels are making me sad, story is super boring holywood style bullshit. Blizard learned nothing from POE. It's so uncreative, bland and just not fun. 100$ wasted.
I still feel sad i cant play the game. My internet is just too bad for the game.
