I used to be excited for every ubisoft release, now its just like looking at a stray dog, so miserable
Weird, they were hiring in my country for just dance tho.🤷🏼♀️( and some mobile game .)
Ubisoft has 19,410 total employees. they layed off 45 of them, which is 0.002%, why is this even making the news
I worked for Ubisoft from 2015-2019.
I feel nothing for them, hope they lose everything.
Destructive people will destroy themselves, it’s only a matter of time. Just sit back and watch the show… ― King Langston
Has nothing to do with Outlaws making a lot or no money. Game devs often get laid off when a big game is finished and is about to get released. Typically Q&A are the first one to get shafted. Then when the next game requires Q&A testing, they hier new, cheap people. Same happens to regular devs. Unfortunate reality in the gaming industry.
Maybe the modern audience can save Ubisoft, then again, maybe they should get used to losing their jobs, just like how gamers can get used to not owning anything they buy.
Maybe make games your customers…want?
So it begins…..
Why would you stream games that you dont like and you tell everybody else not to buy??
Youtubers are so hypocritical. Its not your "job" to stream or support the thing you hate. What a stupid retohric
Lol not going anywhere close to Ubisoft games 😅
Easiest way to show a positive number for the quarterly review when nothing is going to sell enough.
I thought their new releases were highly anticipated. Isn't that what they told investors in their quarterly investor call report?
Doubt it… they hired on a ton of people to develop the games (I think that's ubi soft calls it- lol), now the projects are done, and the extra help isn't needed.
Xdefiant definitely had a 180 change from the prior cringe fest before. My brother loves it and says it's a much better cod alternative with balancing and in game weapons feel GG to that 🎉
I wish gamers had a direct way to contact these investors and share holders. We can tell them they will make more money if they put a game that focuses on gameplay and story telling before shoving DEI down our throats. Like man they killing starwars calling C3PO and R2D2 lovers. NOOOO they're fking robots.
I don't think it well sell particularly well but I agree that AC Shadows will likely sell due to franchise fame. I don't think that Outlaws will though. Star Wars as a franchise is mostly dead. And Ubisoft doesn't have any Star Wars brand recognition of their own to fall back on. Couple that with all the back lash, controversy, and negative reaction to the trailers shown for the game, and I doubt people will be coming out very much for this. And this is to say nothing of the general sentiment towards Ubisoft and how much they have proven how out of touch with gamers and customers they are. Or the fact that Ubisoft themselves have admitted they have spent more on marketing Outlaws than any of their other games. And while there is about a week and a half difference between their releases, I think that Black Myth Wukong might also take a bite out of Outlaws initial sales. There is way more hype surrounding that game.
I think Outlaws will likely lose money. AC Shadows will probably break even and maybe make a bit of a profit but I don't think it will be particularly huge, likely underperforming Ubisoft's estimates.
Now Ubisoft have a complete diverse team of all white females that identify themselves as non binary black middle aged women.
Don’t make me tap the sign
😂👉🏽 “I don’t think you hate DEI enough, you may say you do but nah.”
Ubisoft should offer its services in gameworld development to other studios, and quit doing anything else.
AAA is a bloated industry built on investor hype, not on its own success. If a game needs 200 designers and 50 programmers, they're definitely the wrong people for the job. Layoff 90% of that useless staff and start creating good games again.
Why do you use the same thumbnail in every video?
I would normally fell bad about someone losing their jobs, but.
Play stupid DEI games, win stupid 100 million bux losses 😊
Guess people didn't preorder enough
As normal. I am not defending Ubicrap in anyway. But these massive, years long projects take on staff just for these projects, When the project is done so is their employment.
Hope Microsoft buys out ubisoft
acutally its more than 45, about 200 people affected. used to work there, still stay on the loop.
I do not understand why any company which exists to make a product that gives them a profit will deliberately do this. Why would they decide to deliberately ruin a game by pandering to a bunch of woke activists, whilst knowing that the imaginary customers for whom they are ruining it, will not buy the product? It beggars belief, it really does.
The games haven't even released yet and they're already cutting jobs. A very clear indication that both of these games are gonna flop.
Will you make a video about the " Do's and Don'ts " associated with the Wukong reviews?
" Do’s & Don’ts
