Fede Álvarez has revitalized the franchise with Alien Romulus by bringing back the aesthetic and horror roots from the first film. In fact, I think it's the best entry in the series since Aliens almost 40 years ago.
I loved Alien. I honestly think this movie is better.
Saw this last night and we ell it's better than the last six releases but that's not saying much
Is it just me or did the story seem completely rushed and the lead character come off as a adolescent pushover with no real connection to other charcters.

It was Garbage
I loved it. I liked the second ending, I didn’t think it dragged on. For me it felt like you were never really safe until you got far away from that hell hole.
Alien Romulus is not only stupid. It isn’t scary. It has zero ties to any of the other movies. It is…..DOG SHIT! It’s like Twilight in space…soooo horrible!

For today's low movie standards, it was a solid movie.
I loved how this movie continued to not be a cookie cutter movie. A leading character who’s not an idiot and inventive scenes like the zero gravity acid. Director and writer killed it. Also shout out to Andy actor
Ash was my favorite. He was true to form. I hated the he's my brother/child android treat like a real person dynamics but real person she could care less about.
I want to see this, but Covinant left such a bad taste that i still haven't recovered from that mess.

Like Deadpool 3. Hated it. I wanted to like it so bad, but it was trash imo. Loved the first 2. I also loved Prometheus. Most Alien fans hated it.
They made aliens to weak in this for me. facehuggers being batted away and other aliens being scared by guns.. not like aliens of the past.
