I came to realize that this boss was the hardest after I beat him because of your comments. And I I’m gonna say that the reward after this boss fight (Urbosa’s fury) is so OP. It has helped me a lot throughout the game.
Put on some good music and killed this thing super easily, massive power trip
To make matters worse, this blight seems to actually be more cocky than the others, if it manages to hit you in its second phase, it will proceed to laugh at you if you were to get up
This is why I didn't have the courage to go to the Gerudo 😭
it's easier if you use the master sword
The other bosses I don’t really see why Ganon won, but for this one, I can see why.
flurry rushed its first phase with a master sword. after i hit thunderblight ganon with the metal that was conducting the electricity, i threw bomb arrows at it and didn't get to fight its other attacks in its second phase lmfao
Trick to easily dodge: when he's doing the second zooming up then do a backjump and a moment he takes a little moment to attack if it's the case do a lateral jump
This boss convinces me that flurry rushing is easier on Wii U because I really didn’t struggle that much on him, granted I did it last so that might make sense, but I still was hiding from Lynels and guardians at that point. Why was he so hard again?
Also urbosa really knows how to boost someone’s determination to win a fight
To literally everyone if thunderblight is so hard don’t beat him last the last blight you fight has 2000 hp no matter who it is your fighting
The irony is I actually somehow struggled more with Fireblight Ganon because I didn't know that I was meant to counter its primary attack with a bomb until halfway through.
Thunderblight was easier for me cuz it was my final blight and I had already focused my entire fighting style around perfect dodges
Watching this video itself is giving me ptsd.
… I really don't want to sound insulting to everyone who says this is the hardest.
But this was the easiest for me. It was all on the parry and on using an ancient broadsword to break its shield.
But then again: I had two bars of hearts, and a lot of ancient weapons farmed in the battle trials. And Lynel weapons too so… Maybe I just went overprepared.
A good strategy to beat thunderblight is that you need a boomerang ( korork or lizalfos) to throw it to break the shield then shoot an arrow at his head then go into bullet time and start spam hitting him with your multi shot bow I hope this will help

love how they drop your expectations with every other blight and then this dark souls ass boss comes out of nowhere since it was mine and many others last blight to defeat

me who beat it in 2 tries and the first try was me with no prep, food, half full health and almost beating it, dying to the guardian attack at the end : why r ppl saying its hard??
I don't care how abusive this boss was (I almost destroyed my Gamepad). This is my favorite Divine Beast and boss, though the others were almost as fun and good, but I suppose the extra difficulty set this one apart.
Ascend changes EVERYTHING in this fight if you could have it lol

I grinded like half of the shrines in this game so i could get the master sword and hearts, JUST BECAUSE OF THIS MF 💀 (thunderblight becomes ezpz with master sword ngl, i think i have severe skill issue 😔)
I dont even understand how this dude is hard, i chose him as my first divine beast at my first playthrough and i literally dogged on him
the memories 2017 💔 i remember this was my first devine beast boss lmao i was at 6 hearts only.
