Why Use Incognito Mode?
Incognito Mode allows you to browse without saving your history, cookies, or temporary files, offering a higher level of privacy for your online activities.
For Google Chrome:
- Open Chrome: Launch the Google Chrome browser.
- Open Incognito Window: Click the three dots in the top-right corner and select New Incognito Window, or press Ctrl+Shift+N (Windows) or Command+Shift+N (Mac).
- Browse Privately: A new window will open where you can browse without saving history or cookies.
For Mozilla Firefox:
- Open Firefox: Launch the Mozilla Firefox browser.
- Open Private Window: Click the three lines in the top-right corner and select New Private Window, or press Ctrl+Shift+P (Windows) or Command+Shift+P (Mac).
- Browse Privately: A new window will open with private browsing enabled.
For Microsoft Edge:
- Open Edge: Launch the Microsoft Edge browser.
- Open InPrivate Window: Click the three dots in the top-right corner and select New InPrivate window, or press Ctrl+Shift+N (Windows).
- Browse Privately: The new window will not save your browsing history or cookies.
Tip: For enhanced privacy, use Incognito Mode alongside a VPN (Virtual Private Network). While Incognito Mode prevents saving your browsing history and cookies, a VPN helps to mask your IP address and encrypt your internet traffic, providing a more secure browsing experience.
