I found a way around the overleveling thing, if you just have your naclestack faint just before taking out the pokemon with salt cure, it'll gain no xp while still taking out the pokemon and thus prevent it from overleveling

Just got the game yesterday for my birthday and did this strategy. It's insane just how this Minecraft-looking Pokemon can carry your team here. Here's hoping they don't nerf the move. It's amazing.

you can also use trace to see if it has sturdy, it's a little faster than defeating the pokemon

If you wanna save on healing pots. Just get a wooper with poison point. Use it as lead pokemon and let it get killed. 30% chance of poisoning if getting attacked physically.
