What are you most excited for coming in Link's Awakening Remake?
1222 dude you need the lens of truth for this room. It's not like you have to guess
1441 dude you only have 1 heart, get the fairies down the hole! xD
I’ve always disliked Heart Pieces, and I thought it was a breath of fresh air when Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks were designed to exclude them, using only Heart Containers. If Ocarina of Time was remade from the ground up for the 3DS, then one of the most obvious improvements they could’ve made was changing the health upgrade system to only use Heart Containers.
They also should’ve cut the number of Gold Skulltulas in half.
Whenever it comes to a bunch of collectibles, I always have to use walkthroughs, because I find it tedious to go on giant, virtual Easter Egg hunts. That’s why I think Zelda games should utilize a traditional leveling up system, with upgrade trees.
Nah, the 3DS Demakes of OoT and especially MM are trash.
Absolutely butchered art-style and direction of many scenes, and all that extra handholding because people are mouth-breathers these days. I thought Navi was already disliked, so why add MORE guidance??
You're a thieving sack of garbage
I went through all the zelda games and I suffered through the n64 games. I admit, the stories were great but the gameplays and controls aged terribly. Since I'm about to start the 3ds games, I'm not sure if I'm motivated to try the remakes too.
I miss these old thumbnails with the beard
Mr fraudmans vid pops off on yt now? Lol
Amazing game , amazing graphics sound , and most importantly…. time it came out
I was a 12 year old boy from Mexico, not speaking a single thing of English at the time, and could beat the Water Temple. Never understood how other people had trouble with it, is now a meme that everyone else just now says oh yeah it was legendary difficult.
I personally dont like the new animation in the forest temple..the game already has explained to you thats vines can be climbed multiple times, you see vines as soon as you walk in and you see two tree tops. You gotta assume something was up there. I never missed that key, but maybe thats just me. But I doubt it.
There's actually secret colored gauntlets in the game that you can get.
I'm currently playing it and I'm about to do shadow temple😂
Oh man. I was 17, finishing oot in project 64, downloaded via a pstn line.
The 3DS version looks awful compared to N64 OOT played on a CRT TV.
"every kid felt like they could take on the world when there swung around that big daddy"
I played the original and 3DS version A LOT! I gave it back to GameStop for $20 and I regret it because I can’t go back to playing the original on Switch!
HELP ME!
The final skulltulla reward is still less of a slap in the face than all korok seeds
I can't believe no one's programmed Siri or Alexa to enable or disable the iron boots yet …..yo millennials wake up
Bro if this is an 18 minute Speedrun I commend u
I played it as a child over and over again on GameCube and when this came out I played it and fell in love with the game again.
OMG I LOVED the fishing!!! Ugh, while I have to appreciate someone’s honesty and respect their opinion, lol I spent HOURS fishing…..but actual REAL fishing is one of my favorite things….I’d give anything for a fishing pole in Tears of the Kingdom….just as a fun thing to do, I wouldn’t wanna have it in a way to where it forces people to spend hours doing it just for the sake of completion
GOAT
bad take dissing fishing minigames. fishing is the greatest minigame. this isn't just the nostalgia of fishing in OoT with my dad as a kid on my old n64.
This was the first zelda game I'd ever played. It was when I was three, and my dad and brother played it on the gamecube collection that was available from pre-ordering wind waker. A few years later, I eventually taught myself how to read, and ever since then I have been a zelda fan.
How in the holy hell did you get 73 heart pieces? Thats an odd number.
Ganon looks multitudes worse in the remake. Probably my only visual complaint though.
The 3ds version is how I remember the game looking when I was a child. It's beautiful.
I have an idea for speed running, LOZ OOT 300%.
Achieving 100% in all 3 file slots
Oh my god it's the legend himself ((intense applause))
I attempted multiple play throughs of OoT but got extremely uninterested in it. But now that I've completed BoTW, Link Between Worlds, and just now completed Skyward Sword HD (In 5 days, 50h+), I might actually force myself to slog thru OoT, even if it means getting extremely turned off by the gameplay and audio
Whenever it comes to super old, extremely dated 3D games, I just lose interest fast and get rly sick of it
I had no idea about the Boss Rush (er, Boss revisiting…?) Mode in Oot 3DS!! I'm so glad I learned about this even if it's 12 years after it came out lol
