There is a lot wrong with Sonic Frontiers, but the things it does right are the ones that matter the most. And it does them just right …

"Paired with some rather well designed platforming"
Wait what?… did you actually play this game?
0:32 ah here we go again just like all other critics it brings other games just do the review already.
This game is ok
I agree with everything except the cyberspace levels. I must admit, at first I was with you, but after playing more of them over and over to meet all of the completion requirements, it made me appreciate them. They harkened back to old Sonic but in an “arcadey”type of way that forced me to consider Sonics abilities and to change how I approached each one. Of course, there are some that feel incomplete but others that made me feel like a kid again.
Why didn't they make games for kids this game looks so complicated for kids
This the best sonic I've played in ages …. this is definitely in my top 3 all time
I have this game and I felt I was dying more from the games clunkiness than my own skill
And the games color palette is horrible when out on the frontier
It should have been bright and colorful like cyber space
But to me this is a good foundation to making this new era of sonic amazing
This game is a HUGE, CRUCIAL step in the right direction for sonic. But even tho its not perfect, its still an instant sonic classic (as far a sonic game standards) an playing it with the 3d pulse headphones….OMG guys its fucking awesome!
Love how considerate and thoughtful your reviews are. I do find myself wanting the video I'm seeing to be supporting the observations and opinions I'm hearing, but I definitely appreciate the depth and criticality of your review. Thanks for doing what you're doing!
I like the review but I am thankful I got to play the game before I saw this because the gameplay footage isn't very good here.
this is the ugliest looking sonic game of all time.
Sega is now on right direction about it's mascot if the created a game of Sonic as story and emotions like God of war ,creative mechanics like elden ring and music score like Sonic frontiers they will be undefeatable.
That's a really excellent review. One of the best I've heard in a long time. A brilliant breakdown of each aspect, and everything put into context too.
Finally 👏👏👏👏
If only Blockbuster still existed, cos this would be a definite hire first, maybe buy later type of game. Hopefully the price drops soon and I can get it cheaper than AUS $99.99
I agree this game does feel like a solid 8 after beating it 100%. You can tell Sonic Team put way more effort than Forces and the best game we've gotten since Generations
So this is a good game? Wanna get some feedback before I buy
It looks so empty
It looks incredibly boring and the graphics are terrible. Just watching the gameplay in this review was annoying. Definitely not for me at any price, not even f if it was free.
10 out 10 on steam
You know they popping bottles at Sega/sonic team with this one. I’m a huge sonic fan and this is what ive been waiting for from Sega for years and years. More pretty please with sugar on top!!!
I’m really tired of open world games honestly. I get lost in them too easily
"8"?!?! è uno scherzo! vero?!?
An extremely connected and polished open world that’s huge, would be phenomenal.
