You can just feel the love that was put in the game. That goes a long way with me and a lot of fans. Not like other games that are just an easy paycheck for some rich guys that dint really care about the franchise. It was truly and beautifully well done by devs who obviously loved the franchise. Its a truly overlooked and amazing game. That first 2 hours of the game are the most magical and immersed ive ever felt. Amazing game

I played Hogwarts Legacy four times to try out each house
1. Male Ravenclaw
2. Female Gryffindor
3. Female Hufflepuff
4. Male Slytherin
A bit late for me, but I ordered the game and want to play it. I dig what I see because it is open and so many options of paths one can take. It looks really good so far.
I'm not a big gammer, and I enjoy HP though not a Potter head, but I really like what I see with this game. Looks fun and stirs the imagination.

How did using L1 in combat work for you? I felt it didn't do what it should have, was really slow, glitches a lot for changing potions, and even just drinking. Also didn't love the no dying when you fall unless it was super far like in puzzles.
Annoyed with the speed feels slow i was wondering if it picks up later becuase i just started

I am not a Harry Potter fan, but I heard how great the game is, so I got it. It's a charming, quirky, fun game. So far I love it. What I don't understand is the need to pander to the PC crowd, and I don't mean computers. A few hours in, and I've met a "female" bar owner with an obviously "man's" voice, and a frumpy middle-aged woman who tells me about her wife. It's just not necessary. I don't care if there are lesbian witches and trans wizards, to each his ("their"?) own, but this is just silly. It's a game- NOT a platform for LGBTQIA+ equality. (Cue the snarling non-binaries) 😁
It's my personal game of the year 2023 a 10/10! I absolutely love this game! A must buy for all Harry Potter fans!

im hoping for MORE adventures in this world in subsequent games. maybe games where you go to diagon alley, the ministry of magic etc. and a game where you compete in Quidditch and try to get the house cup. i loved the random clothes (i felt like a wizard trying to dress like muggle).
the biggest weakness of this game based on my 20ish hours is definitely the lack of extrinsic motivation. I'm fortunate that I am motivated to play games JUST to play games so lame rewards aren't a huge problem for me.. but it absolutely will lose a lot of people who need real rewards to feel like playing is worth it. but wow, the world is so detailed! it's really fun to look around and explore.
I am really enjoying my playthrough of Hogwarts on PC, no issues with frame drops or graphical glitches of any kind. Worth the money to me.
I dislike the camera and how it works.
I had some glitches on Nintendo switch, still love the game.
I wish a could fly in a broom in real life, imagine that. The second time playing I thought man I have to walk where is my broom.
I ordered this in January was told I wasn’t going to get it until July, didn’t get it until November. I’m on my second play, first as a Ravenclaw now as a slytherin still having fun.
Love this game. I do wish that every house had a different main quest.
I learned after just a couple hours that what I actually wanted was a game that focused more on the classrooms learning like a student would do at Hogwarts. I love this game as it is but what i really want is a student life sim that starts at year one and goes to graduation learning the full ciriculum and taking the tests and all of it WITH QUIDDITCH
