Look GOW RAGNAROK is fun to play, it looks nice & I like the characters. But it's also a very safe game. Let me know what you think, considering liking & all that stuff & I'll see you in the next one.

Elden Ring was such a breath of fresh air. It was a eureka moment for me too. Went back and played the other souls games after it. Enjoyed god of war but there was way too many bloated story moments that added nothing to the game. It feels more like a movie than a game in a lot of areas.
Why the fuck are you comparing Elden Ring with GOWR? They are so different games with different proposes. You only talks about things you dont like in GOWR based on your tipe of favorite style of gaming instead of focus on the problems this game really has. If you dont appreciate and understand the structure gameplay of these games like gow, go play other games and stop talking nonsense shit about this one.
You whine about "woke" -> channel blocked
Linear cinematic gameplay is not the problem, it is actually a strong advantage of the game. The main issue is that the final act of the game was rushed. It lacked both gameplay time and proper story resolution.
We needed Kratos not to just be titled general but to be one. To gather armies of all realms and actually lead them. To show that he learned from Atreus to care, not just say it without any real meaning. After fighting Thor and Odyn we needed a proper 1 v 1 for God of War. While Ragnarok Monster strikes in the end, Kratos should be the one to jump in protecting the son. Then the group realizes there are a lot of innocent people caught in their war that will die to Ranaroks fury. Kratos orders them to escape thru wolf rift uncertain of the outcome of the fight but he stays to face the monster. Kratos unleashes his full godly spartan rage might but in controlled way, not for a sake of vengeance but in order to protect. That would be his first big step in the journey shown on the last altar, which leads to his clash with tyrranical gods other pantheons in next entries taking place among Mezopotamian and Egyptian Empires.
Restricted movement/climbing are bad but those are secondary issues. I do not need GOW to be a 1000 h open world replayable game. I need it to properly pace and resolve the epic story, ending with a climactic finale, just like the 2018 one did.
Genuinely, if you guys played more than just AAA games you'd be less annoyed with this, but I do want AAA games to be less movie and more game
Elden ring is my favourite game Nd I am a elden lord 👍 but man I wish it was more violent you can't chop no one in half or anything off witch is disappointing for someone who love violence Nd gore
New director literally ruined the story. This game needed to be number two in a 3 part series. “Let our general lead 15 elves and 3 gods into a battle against the entire host of Asgard! Lol oh wait….Fenrir can just teleport into Odins lair.” I loved 2018 and was incredibly disappointed by this. Funny thing is…most people were disappointed but they lie to themselves by how shiny the game is and because Kratos.
Had high hopes for Ragnarok after playing God of War 4, but decided to get a used copy of ragnarok and finally got one a week ago, I've reached where you play as atreus in that stupid woods area, I haven't turned on my PS5 for 2 days now and this game made me want to go back to Stellar Blade and complete the game twice for the platinum. so bad.
I came here because i dropped Ragnarok out of boredom when you are alone with Freya After meeting his brother. For me the worst thing were dialogues. It feels like the characters are always complementing each other, and Kratos always sais things that seem out of the Bible. Even tho you are fighting at every corner it doesn't feel like there Is any conflict
Tbh if it ended on 2018 this saga would have something good, God Of War Ragnarok VALHALA it's good but the base game is… uhhh… 50/50
Thats why i felt so empty after playing Horizon Zero Dawn. And after Playing God of War 3 i was like yeah that was an experience
A god of war “souls game” would be unreal!
Ironwood and fcking lame atreus is the reason i never finished my second run. Went back to GOW 2018.
Hell no
Ragnarok is best in the series
Elden Ring ruined western games for me, it’s just not fun anymore, it’s tedious!
I think I’ve seen every character’s butt in this game…lol
I thought I liked 2018, but after Ragnarok, I didn’t want to touch 2018 because it’s basically the same game
I knew as soon as I saw the character models for Thor and Odin this wasn't going to be anything special.
Just what everyone is pointing out, wannabe filmmakers have taken over game industry. In older games, story was made to support gameplay, now it's the opposite. To make it worst the story writing sucks, so many games I dropped in the middle due to overly serious tone, long boring dialogues/character interactions, long closeup shots of character's faces etc. Last of US, Uncharted 4, Hellblade 1 and 2, days gone among many others
You didn't make one objective criticism of the game, this whole video is "I don't like this game because it's not the game I want it to be"
I liked gow 1-3 and the 2018 one, but ragnarok was ass
That's why Skyrim is still loved
I think we kind of got old and life happened
Most of the games back then was either linear or it's world isnt fully stuffed
Yeah u got the puzzles part right but it's made for people who just want to play
And enjoy
Take the options nowadays for example u have ton of options
And elden ring is different from gow
Gow is telling the story for kratos
Remember the first entry in every game series they wasn't deep or anything just focusing on the gameplay and puzzles with little much story
Thats why 2010 to 2013 was the golden era it was the point of balance
While I agree with a lot of your criticisms, I think you’re doing yourself a disservice by comparing this game to Elden Ring. It’s not trying to be Elden Ring. It’s trying to be a heavily guided story based game. If that’s not what you’re looking for don’t play the game. Elden Ring is my favorite game of all time but I don’t expect every game to made like that. Have you ever considered that other people play video games besides yourself? A lot of people want their hands held while playing games.
Elden ring fanboy rant. The real reason Ragnarok sucks is the story and ATREUS
5:08 elden ring feels if some animated 2D movie crush the competition of all the 3d animated films.
This game wants to be elder scrolls so bad it’s sad just go back to the old enemy bashing mechanics like the original trilogy.
Been subbed and then this video came into my recommended. What a terrible take man. Made me totally lose respect for all of your opinions. If this game made you feel empty you have no soul. Unsubscribing now. Get it together man.
I know this video's dislikes gotta be way higher than the likes lmao
