In this video, I walk through what generative art is and show you how to get started scripting your own using the Python PIL library.

Could anyone tell me whether or not this script could work with generating with 3d model characters with different character traits? If not could you possibly point me to the script I would need to use for something like this.
Your channel is so amazing man. There are some really good videos that I am looking for here 😇👍
tnx a lot bro god bless u
Hi! I was wondering if you would be able to do a 'walk through' video for setting up your 'set up' to do this. I tried installing VSC, but couldn't really get it to work, didn't know where to download PIL, didn't know where to input code etc. A good idea for a video, would be as if you're a complete beginner and walking through downloading all the software, the set up, what all elements to download to get to the point you can start coding etc. Thanks!
thanks ^^ <3
Can this output gifs?
Is there a way of making a color grid where instead of randomly getting the square's location, they can fit into one another nicely?
Hi, Just want to ask, any books related to Generative Art using Python? Thanks in advance.
Sent you an insta DM on your main account. Would be interested in collaborating
Will this work in the spyder IDE?
Thank you so much, your content helps so many young coders like myself, I am looking to use Python to programmatically generate 32px by 32px images ( upscale to 900×900) from combinations of PNG images in a folder. You can imagine it as simple as avatar generation ( empty face (layer 1) + Hat + Shades + Tshirt )
I heard from my research probably should using something like PIL for it
Hello could you help me code a crypto collectible I can manage the solidity and metamask/ web3 stuff but I need a built up mapping and drawing procedure containing my source files I have backgrounds, body, head, hats, necklaces;items that I need to pull from how do I structure this?
I thought this was pretty cool! Glad I stumbled across this channel. I knew PIL was capable of image handling, but I never thought to use it for image generation! Something that might be cool to do: Instead of using a uuid, put the entire script into a enum loop, and use the iteration as the file name, then create a gif with the ordered output.
Hey man! I love the example. Well explained.
Would you be willing to share the portable docker setup? It looks really clean.
I'm definitively subscribing!
Great content, cheers 🇲🇽
Wowowow amazing video. Really good for me .
Love 💕 from Pakistan.
Very interesting! I'm curious about how you come up with the algorithm for the wormy art.
You really deserve a lot more viewers, this was really amazing
