Wish i had pleasant experience as some others but ever since i bought it and i have had connectivity issues while all my other devices are fine with my internet.
It’s another year later…. Come on , you know you want to do a 2 year follow up
I'll definitely see into getting one when the next gen comes out. I'm not really a first prototype investor.
What kind of Windows UI is at 2:50?
Greatest device ever. I upgraded the internal SSD to 1TB for all my steam games and another 512GB SD card for all my emulators and games. I now have enough games to last a life time.
2 years later, still is
Seems worth it, I will be purchasing
I beat my deck daily
they should go cartrage on the battery
Can it handle any game on steam? Or is it made for all games on steam? How do it work for games that use mouse like “under the new sun”?
I am buying a used one in just a few hours. Can’t wait! I’m kinda worried as I’ve never messed with pc stuff since like 2002 so I’m out of it. Hopefully I don’t mess anything up.
If I bought one, when my library shows up, does it just show SteamDeck compatible games? Or is it all of them? Thanks
Just bought mine and a separate 1tb SSD!
Game choice is a big one. If you are a person who plays high end games like witcher on pc and then some simpler games like rogue legacy on the go, then you shouldn't have huge issues. I personally don't want to play high impact games on a portable device and I don't like playing simple games on my beast of a game rig
This content is world-class. A similar book served as a pivot point for my understanding. "A Life Unplugged: Reclaiming Reality in a Digital Age" by Theodore Blaze
absolutely not worth it and heres why
1 the performance is that of a laptop from 2013 its a joke
2 cant play a single AAA game at 30 fps
3 the hoops you need to jump through to play non steam games is pathetic
4 remote play is absolutely usesless with 200ms of lag on a good day making it unplayable
5 the battery lasts literally an hour if your playing a demanding game
6 the lcd screen is one of the worst i have ever seen
7 300$ more for wifi 6 and an oled screen lmao
the steamdeck is the most useless piece of hardware to come out in the last 5 years
if it wasnt for the ps portal which is the WORST handheld ever the steam deck is right behind it
i really dont care what fan boys who have this have to say just like i cud careless what the losers who buy skins in MW3 think about the game
bottom line get a laptop and dont waste ur money on this underwelming piece of garbage
People say “if you want a portable gaming device get a laptop” I’m sorry not everywhere I go or on a car ride do I wanna bring a laptop. You guys sound like idiots with that. And for those nostalgia gamers who wanna emulate there’s something different about playing an og Pokémon game or even a newer one(via yuzu) that is better played ON A HANDHELD. Also if you are disabled and can barely move, using a laptop in bed with no cooling stand or anything is a hassle when I can just play my games as if it were a switch(without ridiculous overpriced games in the switch) learn that not everything can be solved by your arrogant means. People think differently and aren’t always thinking what you think is as optimal. This is coming from someone who owns a laptop and a good one at that. Sometimes I’d like to lay down and play games not have to sit up and use mouse and keyboard all the time or even a separate controller.
why i have feeling everybody is trying to sell it on ebay….unsuccessfully
I been trying to get one but they don't ship to Guam
Getting my og steam deck 64g tomorrow can't wait. Been saving for months now
The fact that I can undervolt my CPU and GPU is incredible. This device is awesome
6:23 does anybody know the name of this game?
Shit It reminds me of Xbox 360
The amount of games, acessablity to option and settings, the modality. I would love to get one of these things
does anyone know what that side scroller fighting game is? whenever it goes from first person to side scrolling to fight?
I was thinking about getting one but there a bit expensive I'll wait till black Friday to see if there r good deals this handheld looks good
If I have to choose between a Steam Deck or a PS5, what is better to get?
Is video game ka name
I hope to have one eventually
Proper comprehensive video! Enjoyed it thoroughly, you've hit all of the questions for this stage. I salute you sir! 🥰🙏🐻
I've had it for nearly a year now too, and while the "whoa" factor has more or less worn off (as it does over time with new hardware), the deck itself hasn't lost a step yet to me. The posibilities are so vast in what you can do with this monster, and the portability has made it so that I don't have to bring my laptop when I go for a visit somewhere for an extended period of time. I know alternatives exist nowadays, but I don't need to upgrade, because the steam deck is perfect for me, and relatively affordable too.
When it comes to bugs and issues, they pop up every so often, I must admit. That said, Valve seem like they're great at acknowleging and patching most of them pretty fast, as they appear.
Soldiers are going to love it.
I use it to play Minecraft, terraria, and starfield, love it
I ordered one a couple hours ago, so I’m hopeful it still holds up even being 7 months after this video was initially released. Looking forward to putting a dent in some of the older and backlogged games in my Steam library, plus emulation.
Just ordered one the other day. Still not sure what games I want to play on it yet, but I think anything story driven will be a good time. I heard emulation is good, but knowing what is the best option for emulators is a mystery.
im a low budget guy, but i like this deck because is cheap, and you can do anything you want with this handheld
It's pretty darn cool i sit in bed and watch porn on it bloody love this thing
