I got biggorons sword before doing the fire temple. It made the game significantly easier. It one-shot every enemy in the water temple(except for dark link and morpha).
Damn I thought I'd know everything there is to know about OoT at this point, but half of these were new.

you're not able to walk on lava indefinitely if you have to jump every so often :3
I had a friend who had me obsessed about that lava waterfall for ages. He kept telling me there was a hidden sword behind it that was stronger than the Biggoron sword. Now I find out there really was something back there. But it's just a heart. That's about as useful as tye 1up behind the breakable wall in Whomp's Fortress.

You can also deflect Ganondorf's blasts with an empty jar. Was hoping to see this here. I discovered this when I was joking around with my brother to see how he'd react as I pretended to bottle the blast. We were both dying laughing when we found out it works to deflect 😂
Me watching the bosses I tried hard to beat as a kid get their ass kicked. 😂 😭

Here's one for you. You can defeat Phantom Ganon with the Big Goron sword, and without reflecting his attacks.
I did an entire play through of Legend of Zelda not knowing any other way until I was at the very end of the game.

Heh, I stumbled on to #3 by accident when I loaded an OoT soundfont into a sampler, found the sound for the Poe laugh, and started playing lower pitched notes. Shit took me by surprise.
I liked the "burning" transition you added to the text box on #11. Fit the theme perfectly!
The lightening revealing the flags is awesome. Cool use of that song, intended or not. Given how cool it looks and how it works realistically, id say it was intended. Brilliant.

I never realized until today that if you are kid Link and you use the warp from Zora's Domain to Lake Hylia before you collect the 3rd stone, if you go up onto the shore and walk onto the boardwalk by the house and go out to the corner, the Owl is perched out there and will offer to fly you back to Hyrule Castle. For the last 26 years I thought the only time the Owl ever picks you up was to take you from Death Mountain to Kakariko Village
