Defenders if this will argue $10 is for the new game mode.. but should've it should have been free because they took away Factions last minute for the OG release. The other graphics settings.. should also be free. Imagine getting a new GPU, setti g your graphics settings from Medium to med/high, and then having to pay an upgrade fee for each game you already bought.. naughtydog is becoming a broke woke joke, don't defend this absolutely predatory and shit behavior.

This game was made for the PS5 users that did not experience this when the game originally released.
So this upgrade makes it so you have even less storage on your PS5 portion of the harddrive… useful to know

It's not worth the full price unless you don't own the original version but it's a very reasonable upgrade price for the extras. Man some people just like to bitch about everything.

Never played the original part 2 so i doubt im gonna buy the remaster. I prefer other games anyways, and this seems more like a cash grab than anything else.
I have no interest in rogue-anythings, but for $10 it's probably worth the upgrade for most people.
I really liked this game not knowing the first games story back when I played it when it first came out the combat and graphics really drew me in but I could relate to og fans in that I was not very satisfied with the story and ending having now played part 1 I identify with Joel’s internal struggle and have trouble justifying the whole Abby storyline but if you haven’t played part 2 by all means give it a go specially updated with ps5 graphics

I came here to see if graphics were better and gameplay was better. Not about point of no return and the capability of hearing some commentary about how they made it while playing. So without the scientific version is this game better with gameplay??
Oh my god! these games if you can call them that freaking suck. This is my first time playing them and The times where it's being a video game it's great but that's only 30% of the time in the first game and only 10% in the second.
Is it the pretty visuals that makes you people coom all over these games?? Seriously what is it? I have never been so bored playing a "game" in so long. I'm like half way through the second game It's now been a hour of just running around and picking up stuff and walking and talking. I'm about to turn this $hit off.

Ye.. I think the last of us pt 1 set up a nice opportunity for the writers to make a second part about Joel’s redemption, both for killing the fireflies and also for lying and damaging his relationship with Ellie. And with any good redemption story making him die or sacrifice himself for Ellie or for something in the last mission. They could’ve made an interesting second part keeping the audience wondering what’s gonna happen which is exactly what they managed to succeed at in the first game. INSTEAD! they kill joel without giving him the chance to seek redemption and makes Ellie kill everyone and also lose absolutely everything she has which is very very unsatisfying. This also gave it kinda of a messy revenge plot which was hard to make sense of, and also only setting up a predictable redemption story for Ellie and won’t be as exciting since the only thing that makes sense with regards to her redemption now after losing Joel and killing everyone is to sacrifice herself to make a cure. Not that intriguing and we will probably be able to predict the ending from the beginning of the third game, because I at least don’t see any other redemption story for Ellie. However, Joel gave them many options to make an interesting and exciting story and I felt they just skipped it and lost the opportunity to release more games, because now the writers are just stuck in writing a lame and predictable redemption story for Ellie that won’t even be satisfying because all the shit that happened in part 2 doesn’t make sense, her actions didn’t make much sense, some of it did and with a part to covering Joel’s redemption they would have set up a nice revenge story for Ellie as a part 3 and then maybe part 4 write Ellies redemption. But now… we just know what’s gonna happen. And it sucks. The first game kept the audience excited and wondering how the story was gonna end. The second game did not do that and it didn’t give good opportunities for the third game either
Hope this game bombs, we need Naughty Dog bankrupt and make all wahmen become kitchen masters again and not ruin games

It should have been called the last of part 2 director's cut. It would have been cool if you could have played as Jesse and tommy during the campaign. A DLC with these two characters would be awesome!.
