sometimes I'm bewildered by the issues people have. Like, I'm on Linux, so I have an extra layer of possible technical shenanigans, and games just run without issues on every machine I've ever had, with zero complaint. Hell, I don't even have good bluetooth drivers and my xbox controller works with no fuss.

I hate/ love playing tech support, especially if it’s really difficult to figure out, it’s like finally beating that boss on a souls game, it’s so rewarding to figure it out, or the fix is barely holding everything together and a fart could mess it all back up

Most of the time sitting their optimizing my game to run over 100fps to realize is a bad optimized game and just run every game on low settings to just start playing lol. Pc gaming is fun but it’s true u have to play tech support sometimes lol

I used to play on pc. As I got older I found my self with less time to all the update/upgrade/optimize process. So I bought an Xbox series x , a game pass subscription and it’s all good now. I just turns that thing on and play, that’s it.
Na the zombies invites are too real. Had to fully call my internet provider and get escalated to a level two tech team which I had to wait over the weekend for a call from just to get them to change me to a dynamic IP address so i could have control over the ports I open so I could open the ports bo3 uses because there not open by default just so me and my buddy could play some zombies together

I have been working at an island for the last 7 months, and that meant i dont have acess to a my gaming PC, so i got myself a switch lite, and suddenly i find myself finishing many more singleplayer games, ones that i woul drop halfway through on PC.
It's a bitch to get everything to work the way you want it to, to the point that when a pc port comes out working perfectly out of the box and is well optimized you accuse them of practicing dark magic and making pacts with demons, but I can never give up the flexibility of playing what I want, how I want, in ways console gamers could never dream of. Yes, the Elden Ring pc port would have been better if it was coded by literal chimpanzees, but none of that matters when you learn of the Seamless Co-op mod
there is one more layer to pc gaming….. linux gamers
I just wish woke PC gamers would stop trying to enforce people to go PC when most people can't afford it

I am always reminded why I am a console gamer whenever I try to run a game for the first time on my PC and have to spend an hour troubleshooting drivers, opening and updating 85 launchers, messing with settings, and yelling at my PC before even being able to get into the freaking game.
I got a 32 inch 4k OLED monitor for my PC (replacing a 27 1440p) to sort of recreate that 'luxurious' feeling of playing console games on my 55 LG. It does the job. Also, my office chair is a lot better for my back than sitting on the couch for a long time.
The rant about unoptimized games mightve been the best thing I've heard this month. Esssspeccially adobe!!!
