I just want to say, this video ages so very well given how nobody else was taking Baldur's Gate 3 seriously as a potential Game of the Year contender at the time and how accurate that prediction seems to be in the week following its release.
I didn’t play EA at all, bought the game on release day due to this review and I’ve put in 60 hours already. Rushed into act two a bit, ruined a lot of storylines lmao I’ve already created two other characters on mid level difficulty now that I’m more experienced. Game if the year for sure

Was the PHB human variant (sacrifice 4 ((of 6)) attribute points for an additional skill profiency and a feat at lvl 1) added to the full release? Never seen anyone choose a vanilla human at the table like ever.
I want to give this game a try because I love high fantasy and rpg’s. But I never played a dungeons and dragons tabletop game, or another baldures gate. So I’m afraid it’s impossible to het into. Can someone help me a bit

only 14 hours got you into act 2? did you try to rush through? that seems really fast given the amount of hours an entire playthrough of the game takes. or is act 1 just really short?

I never played a d&d game, is it possible to get all your characters/ all extra playable charakter and finish the game with them or are there some problems like if you help one charakter another is pissed and Betrays you. I would like at least finish them game with the characters i like, like barbarian girl, the green one….. lets say all girls like in a Harem anime.

I have a small question from someone who played alot of divinity 2, does this have the same type of physical and magical type of damage in that every character has physcial or magiacl armor and you have to take that down to hit their hp? Also does bg3 have similiar hubs to say Arx or Driftwood? Either way I think we are in for a treat here. Its really good to hear that act 2 seems to be better then act 1. If the combat is as good as div 2 then is absoulty great if, is even better then thats fantastic.

will it be possible to reclass your companions ? i know you can do it with your original character, but can it be done for example with Shadowheart that she could go from Trickery Cleric to Life Domain for example

Anyone bothered by how many different races are in BG3? There werent any lizard people in original BG series and they look off to me, like i am playing SF title with aliens species.
