Hijacking my Sony comment to add that it takes a long time to write, research, film, and edit a video when you still have an actual job. Most of this video was written at the end of March. So with that in mind:
"Guns are well balanced and continue to improve every update" – hasn't aged well, the last few updates have made things worse.
Original comment: Well I guess the timing of this video is pretty ironic, as today it was announced that by the end of the month you will HAVE to sign into a PSN account to play, which is not supported in some regions. I'm hoping something changes soon because otherwise I could see this really hurting the games longevity, and it's just a very anti-consumer practice. Either way, thanks for watching, like and sub and all that stuff, new video by the end of the month.
Edit: Sony backed down, big win for democracy
The biggest problems with ST:E for me is the class system, and the network issues. It doesn't matter if I'm playing in a server region that's close to me, the game still rubber bands and jitters a lot. Also I just absolutely hate that for every class, your starting weapon is the standard morita assault rifle. Want to play the sniper class and use a proper sniper rifle? You have to grind for the actual sniper rifle which I've yet to get because I just can't be bothered to play the game much at all anyway.
Well, now, SST is getting a full release soon, and HD has basically murdered itself… It'll be interesting to see how things change

Helldivers 2 got me back into starship troopers. With how well the game has been doing deapite nerfs an buffs its great fun. I didnt know starship tropers made a game recently.

I had a lot of fun with helldivers for about 2 weeks. Then it just got boring and repetitive. So it got uninstalled. Ive played extermination since early access launch. Still play it. Its way better than helldivers. Helldivers just has more variety in enemies and guns/gear. Once extermination releases itll completely trump helldivers. The base building mechanic, 16 player mayhem, 100s of bugs, etc. Its just better. Helldivers is a joke right now. Extermination does have optimization to work on. But after that the content will come. Full release oct 11th

Starship Troopers might actually make a comeback if HD2 takes the fall. Lots of people bought StarshipTroopers because of helldivers and they got a lot of funding for it. Full release and update is soon… we'll have to see.
I must be one of the few that got bored on Helldiver 2 just after few hours and never played it anymore. It look good but its just chaos dont enjoy that game at all.

Lol this aged well, 15K on steam playing Helldivers 2 and Arrowhead doubling down on their mistakes. Looking forward to October to play the real deal on console with Starship Troopers. Also did you really say you appreciate AH released Helldivers in a polished state? So many people couldn't play with the server restrictions and frequent crashes on launch, the glazing is hilarious.

Starship Troopers extermination is repetitive . . . but actually fun. 16 people, thousands of bugs, persistent corpses, first person, different classes, and the inevitable death from giant bugs that move 2x faster than you.
No dance dance revolution to use a simple ability, no waiting around in lobbies, no endless jogging.
Extermination is early access, costs $20 less, and has alot of room to grow.
Helldivers was a Sony cash grab that's already faltering.
