I bought the 1TB OLED. It’s been a good year, decided to treat myself 😂
In between uograding my gpu or getting a steamdeck. I know they are a little different, but on the fence of what I want more right now haha.
You dont have a couple of hours to socialise …better play some games…wasted life
Is it better than a gaming PC though?
I just bought the 1TB Steam Deck and couldn't be more excited to game on flights mostly.
Going to get my steam deck on Wednesday so excited!
Just bought a 512 gb steam deck after waffling on it for an EXTREMELY long time, and this video made me feel better about my purchase 😊
the price point is kinda bad just due to you still need to buy storage and if you want a m.2 then more on that
What I want to know is if I'm able to play my PS and XB games I already purchased on the steam deck. If you Link your MS and PSN account or do I have to buy the games again I don't want to purchase the games again on steam.
Hey buddy, you should try seat on a chair. It's more comfortable than seat on a desk
I would if I could afford it
Thank you for the video. I'm still thinking about getting a Steam Deck. Do Steam games typically cost less than typical first party Nintendo games?
i was gonna say playstation is bringing their games to steam. i saw ratchet ad clank rift apart is compatible.
Almost everything you said fits me. I frequently doubt myself when buying things I don’t need. I think in the end I will have a lot of fun and really enjoy it.
I need it to get my mind off work. I’m a barber so everything I open is hair 😭 😭 even if I don’t search it up
heres a few reasons why i regret getting a nintendo switch alright so games are ridiculously expensive, its incredibly underpowered no chrome or anything, i have 150 games on steam 81 are verified and playable 108 verified playable and untested, most the games i play are not on the switch, monthly membership just to play online, you get hulu and yt as the only things to watch vids and yknow so steam deck wins on this one
Everyone is not buying a Steam Deck because they lost a lot of money the Best Buy and the Walmart where I am is not allowing to selling anymore
Great video dude and reading all these positive comments makes me wanna spend the big bux and grab one of these over a ps5.
filming yourself on the toilet is crazy
ROG ally much better
thank you for this information i have been thinking about buying one
Really tho! I have 2 kids now. 2 year old and a new born. I have a separate room for my work but I also want to play games on the couch so I can also be with them. So I really want to buy a Steamdeck so I can play games and be with them too!
Being able to emulate older gamers is enough to make me want one. I already have a ps5/switch, and with a steam deck added to the arsenal, I'll be able to play any game i want pretty much. Tired of having to bust out my older systems when i want to play an old gsme from my childhood or having to spend a bunch of money for used games on ebay
I’m a console gamer I play p😢s5
You don't need to justify your decision that you prefer steamdeck to ns, its simple – Nintendo sucks
i just got a steam deck oled. its ok but there are issues. many games dont work properly and the controls dont work and its possible to make them work sometimes but its a pain. in the steam app , there are some notes about which game works with steam deck but not always. i found that many games i have will not work properly. i was expecting such issues would have been resolved since the steam deck is not a new device and has been out for some time but it still cant make all games work properly with the deck controls. its also hard to use the steam deck unless u use a keyboard and mouse with it because its hard to work in the menus without them. not only its written pretty small , its hard to manage and click things with the controls. sometimes i get stuck in an app or something and cant go back to the menu and have to turn the deck off. i still like the steam deck but its not so easy to use because of the issues i talked about. i saw many comments and reviews about how good the steam deck is and i have to say i dont totally agree because not many talk about the issues. maybe if i knew about iti would not have bought the steam deck. its alot money for something that dont always work with all games and have issues.
Bae
5/5 these resons perfectly apply to me!
I play two Steam games on my laptop, but it doesn't match the recommended system requirements, so I'm considering a Steam Deck to rectify that performance problem.
Wats prices on the games are they expensive
That was 5 reason why i should buy haha
bo3 w
I’ve been of gaming for a while and have a huge Steam library. I just ordered an oled. Excited to try it out
Not woth it, for real shooter you can only hold to with an controller. You only stick to steam and nothing else to use it. The power is overhyped and aktually bad. Buy a PC!!! For 200 ore max 300 it wood make sense to buy but what it can is not worth it, sad to say that but ravenfield with 50 boots can run my laptop with no leg for 300 and the steam deck oled have trouble 😂😂😂😂 NO
I've just ordered my steam deck because I work night shift and have big chunks of time when I'm doing nothing but staring at a wall and I would love something to do other than watch TikTok.
this is an ad.
I have a bunch of steam games on my pc would i have buy them again??? I also have non steam games like watchdogs and inquisitor and also non-steam games like ubisoft and originI was hoping you would mention lol
Laughs in getting a 64gb for $250
I got 4.5 out of 5 of those myself. While i dont care to tinker too much, I want the ability to be able to mess with things if i need to. So i think my search will conclude with a steam deck for a handheld, plus already having almost 200 steam games that i havent touched in over a decade maybe, helps the decision too. But now do i spend the money on the oled, or cheap out and probably still be happy with the lcd.
Vampire survivors is the game that promted me to realize i could really benefit from a handheld device. Ive been playing it on my phone through game pass cloud gaming. I used to have a psp years and years ago and i loved it but it didnt catch on enough back then like the switch has. I dont really care much for most of the Nintendo games and there isnt anything exclusive to them that I would miss playing so I fell off the gameboy wagon after the micro.
The playing when you have 10 minutes is basically my life. I tend to read a lot of ebooks and will open kindle when i have more than a minute or two to wait. I miss playing video games though and i cant responsibly hide away in my room on the xbox while my younger kids around destroying rooms unsupervised. Being able to engage with my younger kids, while playing a match of something with the oldest through crossplay, and chilling on the couch seems like a pretty great deal.
steam deck is a Linux computer running steam. Its a fully working computer. I doubt the rest of the consoles can say that.
comparing it to the Asus ROG Ally would be more interesting imo
Having built pc’s for years in the 90’s and early 2000’s. I felt out of gaming for a while then went back into console gaming . And due to not wanting to spend time away from the other half and pooch I bought an Xbox series X mainly for flight sim …. Now I’m missing portable gaming and pc games . So torn between the oled steam deck and the asus Rog.
I have a switch and I barely use that
How does gaming on the comparatively small screen compare to a regular TV? I usually game on my 85" or 75" .
Do you have trouble seeing whats going on in some games with the screen being smaller or no?
Bro is playing steam deck while taking a dookie. 😭
1 big reason you should not – poor performance on recent games
I'm thinking about getting one because I have a big steam library and I wanna play roms. Should I get one? I don't have tons of room for a computer only a laptop but they are so expensive
