I never would have thought this game would be any good, but because of this review, I got it. This is simply one of the best games I've played in years!
If there was no BG3 this would have been my personal GOTY. Games like this are too rare these days. Younger generation has no clue how good we had it in the days back then.

Just finished the game,loved it definitely will go through it again with the robocop 2 skin and I’m gonna take advantage of the perks and weapons took it for granted until it came time to face the old man,some of the voices bothered me MAJOR points for getting Peter weller on board though he much like Michael Keaton in the flash didn’t miss a beat,lack of open world but the detail and mechanics make up for it the bosses could have been better other than that pretty badass game.

It's defo not worth a buy unless its going for £5 I was hyped for this and to receive what only I can describe is the biggest pile of horse shit I've ever played… It took them ages to make this and look how crap the missions are…games jus aren't the same anymore… Paying alot of money for jus boring crap…

Robocop is easily my GOTY! They clearly love and respect the source material! Teyon are now one of my favourite developers. Brilliant game.
I enjoyed all of the side quests, it's a shame you didn't like the video one, as you get some good dialogue and Easter eggs when talking to the homeless guy about the videos. Then a crazy shootout happens for no reason so you get to destroy the shop
this game absolutely sucks, mindblowing how much praise it gets from the people who like to say "gaming industry is in the toilet guys" considering how many fatal crashes you have to endure trying to get through the 9 hours of gameplay (that include revisiting the same downtown area to stroll around 1mph handing out parking tickets). The Ed209 boss fight was when it really hit me how mediocrely shit this game is, absolute bare minimum thought has gone into it

The issues I have with this game so far are the Checkpoint saves and just the fact that you are not as tough as Robocop actually is. Like Mack says, Robocop doesn't run, and I agree, but in this game you can run and you NEED to run in order to avoid grenades that again, should not be causing as much damage to "Robocop" as they do in this game. Its an immersion breaker for old Robocop fans that want to be and feel like Robocop. And there's no crouch! It would have been better if they had never included a run action, but instead included a crouch action with plenty of decent cover to get behind and given Robocop much tougher armour. As it is in this game, Robocop doesn't feel much different from playing a regular soldier in any other game. And that's not how it should be in a Robocop game. Edit: Also I've noticed the AI shoots through walls and obstacles. And there's occasional freezes when you walk around, which for a static world that doesn't generate and spawn dynamically, is inexcusable.
We definitely need new punisher game with the return of the interrogation system and special kills that would be incredible.
MACK!!! Why do you never mention when a game has Checkpoint saves? It's important. A lot of us gamers F**king hate checkpoint saves! You never mention it. For some of us it can be the one thing that stops us from wanting to play a game.

I loved this game, it's not perfect but it is loads of fun, has a lot of charm, and is just dripping with an intense respect and love for the source material.

Looking at the facial animations, I'm guessing this wasn't a big AAA project or something. But that's like the least important part of the game. These smaller games seem to get the priorities right much better than AAA games these days.
I want to see the same developer revisit Rambo again. The first one was that horrible on rails shooter. If it could be done like this one (without the crime solving elements), it would be awesome.

Cool game but, you at the end, your experience point do not carry over. That is the only big let down for me so far.. Oh yeah, and the lack of a 3rd person view option too. But the final 3 options seem to be a decent reason to play thru again. I gotta see the other 2 endings lol
The character models are average, but everything else looks PHENOMENAL, not just ok. The shoot-outs, at their best, look freaking immersive and visceral, like a real movie in HD!
I would give this a 5/10 at best; if it had been designed as a true 80s/90s action/shooter it would have a 8/10 with 2 points off for the terrible performance and crashes. What murders the game enjoyment (and I speake as an 80s/90s gamer) is the amount of excruciatingly tedious and boring downtime where you aren't killing. I don't GAF about signing get well cards for a co-worker…that is tedium not gameplay. These kind of post melenial mindless fidget/busy work truly ruins what could have been an exceptionally badass and testosterone filled shooter that truly recalled the era…instea we get the sissified version.
I was laughing at the collectable bit and you're so right. One of the worst ones i encountered was Assassins creed 2 where you had to find 100 tiny feathers hidden all over the open world without any hints or pointers. WHY?!? Who wants to waste hours of their life hunting high and low for these silly feathers? How is that fun?
