I agree with some of this video. My biggest problem is where it is stated you only want to dodge during elites and bosses. Strongly disagree, especially in later bosses like Urd and the final fight (no spoiler). Deflecting is a must in this game if you want to settle fights quickly and efficiently.
Reckless deflection is ur go to cuz u can spam it cuz for some reason i just can’t deflect attacks on time try it out and enjoy
I don't know about your bosses advice. It's best to use a mixture of dodge and blocking. Odur is much easier when you can rhythum reflect his attacks just like a Sekiroo boss.
Completely disagree on bosses. Reflection is your best option 90% of the time
Good advice but I disagree with 7. You MUST utilise and learn the deflect mechanic to have a good time
The claw is the key to this game
Here's a tip for bosses use short claw with the claw attack life gain with long parry's and short dash with the gain 1 offensive buff once you have use the parrys to deal wounding damage then stack offensive counters and use claws to deal quick attacks it'll roughly be 8 per strike but will add up fast and if they begin to heal just shoot a feather at them use dash if you have it but in my experience most bosses tank it and hit you through it
I don’t agree about the non deflect on bosses. The first main boss is way easier if you deflect his attacks. It was like that lady boss in Sekiro and it was quite fun to Best him with deflects.
You can use claw attack as healing weapon as well, just use claw after white bar and green is taken of enemy and only green is visible.
The camera sucks so bad on xbox
If you max out the reflect timing skill you can spam it against bosses with no reason to dodge at all
Great video. Thanks for the tips! I've been waiting for this Indie game for some time now and I love seeing people making content for it. I hope this game explodes with popularity.
