Hi Ross, thank you for sharing and showing us your wonderful work. Could I ask what you were mixing with the high gloss finish. Stunning work.
You just sent me in a direction I have always wanted to go in. I am going to mix photography with mix media now. Thank yo very much.
Could you share what solvent you used to get the laser transfer. I have been using acetone with average results. Thank you.
Thanks for being so inspiring Ross
I like what you said cheers
Nice .. thanks for sharing your Passion and insight!
so nice !
Around 3:05 what type of solvent was used?
Very inspiring Ross, i learned photo encaustic in the U.S in 2003 from the late Robert Von a photo professor from NYU and find myself pioneering the process in U.K, teaching is rewarding! cheers!
At around 1:16, what is the process for transferring the photograph onto the canvas?
Thx
Very interesting piece. Thanks for sharing!
Ive found that photo glossy paper doesn't adhere well to resin.
Please help what type of paper was that in beginning?
Thank you so much for this.
Ross, I loved this piece. In particular, your advice that there are no mistakes or failures, just opportunities to learn more, is so freeing. Your love of what you do comes shining through.
Can I do that on canvas instead oaf wood?
Hi Ross, may I ask your advice please? I am in the middle of a mixed media picture and I want to finish it with a wax sealant like you have done here. I have successfully done this before. Today I saw someone who seals their wax after it has dried. Is this just for aesthetic purposes do you think or does sealing the wax have any long lasting benefits? I've never sealed the wax before. Hoping you don't mind me asking you for your advice here. Thanks! x
Great work!

Ryan and Opus, once again an excellent video! Thank you. Ross, nice to see you sharing your knowledge shaping young minds. I am STILL using the photo you took of me in my Bio. You are a fabulous artist!
Thanks for sharing, Ross. Well communicated, candid and honest. This is how people can actually learn. And you are wise enough to allow for peers being something other than competition! Hope you find time to share more. How much we could all learn if artists would share. Maybe some of just don't know how.
Wow, amazing work!
