As the talk about finding shinys happens I ran past my first shiny in the game

10:50 i think the easiest way to beat iono without any sort of training or preparation is infact to catch the level 24 tera growlithe thats right on the way to the city, it can tera ground and you can also find a firestone on the way there as well, evolve it into arcanine and teach it flare blitz and flamethrower from the move relearner option, arcanine is immune to her attacks and completely sweeps her with dig, flare blitz and flamethrower at base level, she cant even touch you and it doesnt waste any time since you have to take that route to get to her in the first place. you could also go a little bit further and catch a dugtrio on the other side, but its not as good since her ace has levitate and dugtrio cant do nearly as much damage as arcanine can, plus it wastes a bunch of time backtracking. also arcanine one shots the next titan orthworm as well with a charcoal boosted flamethrower at base level, and he also beats clawf and bombirdier ofc. there are also other spots where you can catch the perfect pokemon that sweeps the next gym, for example you can catch a level 35 cacturne at the desert for the water gym, he sweeps him damageless with trailblaze and bullet seed if you buy a loaded dice at the store, cacturne also beats great tusk at base level with bullet seed, even tho its super underleveled. and there is another really good pokemon that basically finishes the last 3 gyms by itself, which is the level 42 tera ghost houndoom you will find in the cave before the psychic gym, with shadow ball, snarl, nasty plot and flamethrower he sweeps the psychic gym, the ice gym and the ghost gym, and after you have all gym badges, you can go to the cave where the level 75 tera ice lucario is at, catch that and beat the rest of the game with that, he 6/0 sweeps every trainer thats left, the game literally beats itself, you just gotta know where all the good pokemon are found.
I’m just kinda new to Pokémon, I legit don’t know what some shinies look like, my game says I’ve fought 12 shinies but I only own 1. That’s what I consider the problem, they’re so small and often covered by your Pokémon that if you don’t know you just don’t know and you miss it which is genuinely sad
