maybe the perfect brush was the friend we made along the way
What brush did you use?
Before I watch, lemme guess…
a hard round brush.
Beginner: 00 tiny detail brush.
Master: #6 Filbert bristle brush.
its just like traditional media. we have thousands of different tools at hand, but the two favorite led pencils and that one rubber that we use up until the nub barely fits your hands. That one brush that is the perfect size and shape, that paper that always makes your strokes feel smooth. it is important to limit yourself, to focus on skill. tools do not give you skill.
what in gods name did he do at 0:15? I've never seen anything quite like that.
I like this a lot
I think using brushes you are uncomfortable with is a good way to improve your painting. Mostly cause that force you to give up a bit of control to concentrate on color and shapes. Also, it can give you more visual vocabulary.
кисти очень важны – посмотрите zbrush
wow nice painting! what brush did you use for that? do you have a link to your brush set?
I must admit that I do like using texture brushes. Real painters have brushes for specific jobs, too. Fan brushes etc, and ones for doing grass.
The perfect brush was the friends we made along the way.
I create art in many styles for clients and personal work. I love having a variety of brushes to achieve a specific look and feel, especially to achieve convincing traditional mediums.
That was nice to listen to but difficult to watch because of the constant horizontal flipping.
i believed for a loong time that, in order to have good results, i would just have to find the perfect brush. I think a lot of people still believe that. Looking back, that was ridiculous. This video kind of gave me the final needed nudge, so thank you.
I used to have a channel with a tonne of videos under the name "roundbrushsteve" and did everything with a round brush, its simple and does the job.
what is this style of digital painting called?
cool vid, btw can I have your brushes
Anyone know what background music is used?
the perfect brush was the friends we made along the way
Man I can't finish this video because of the flipping making me sick. Is this necessary sir?
That was really soothing
But digital art just frustrates me
The best works are the ones when I don't think much about how to draw it
I just do it somehow
I have tons of brushes but I always find myself using only the default brush.
Can you please tell is How did you modify your work in this specific shot 0:16 ? I mean where Can i find this tool in photoshop?
tired sausage
That was the quickest subscribe of my life after a video.
I often try to just draw stuff from imagination instead of drawing images I’ve found, but I’m not that into character drawing yet. Do you ever study from environments and objects besides characters?
what do you think of nfts man?
The rapid canvas flips make my head hurt
So what brush did you use for this piece?
It's the classic artist's folly: what brush is that? what pen is that?
You can make art with ketchup or even garbage, what matters is spending time with that medium or tool and getting used to it. Start with a very simple brush is key, and as you develop you start to edit existing brushes to fit your needs. You discover your needs as you make art. It's very important that no matter what brush you pick you must stick with it!
I have found my best brush for me it's flat grainy brush but in paint tool sai only i dunno how to customize in photoshop and csp gonna try later to replicate it someday
Soooooo uhm when are you going to share your brush set? 😂
it's not the brush, it's the artist. same thing with how it's not the sword but the swordsman
F
For the love of God digital art is not art its just animation. Dont use the word art for shit that a computer basically made for you with your ctrl-Z. Seriously
