It seems everyone is complaining about the price tag. Why is this $70 one year later
If I were to choose between The Last of Us Part 1 and Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed (because both games released in August), I would go with DAH 2R because the original is severly underrated and deserves that spot light regardless of the glitches it has. The Last of Us is a well known title but for some reason Naughty Dog wants to shove this game down our throats
WTF is naughty dog doing this generation? They haven’t even announced a new game and it’s already been 3 years since PS5 launch. It seems like all they are interested is in remaking old games and TLOU TV series.
Only guys reviews i check before i buy a game
I really want this game and Im so tempted to buy it but i dont think i can justify the price. It's a shame as well because it's such a great game and it's just pure greed. I feel like if this was a Microsoft signed developer it would have been on gamepass at release.
For someone who completed yesterday this game for the very first time ever, I did not face any issues with this game. I played this on an RTX 3090 with old 2x Xeon E5-2687W V4 cpus. I thought I was going to face issues but not at all. The game work smoothly with complete ultra settings. It seems that I got the game after all the fixes and improvements.
Just picked this up from offer up 40 bucks.
It's 50 on ps5
Will you drop a video on the PC port?
Got it on sale for $50. Love the game, but not for $70.
This went on sale over the weekend. Ive bought Persona 5 3 separate times, and I can't remember a time when I didn't have access to Final Fantasy 7. Welp, I guess we can add TLOU to the list of games that I just have a physical copy of for as many platforms as it's come out for.
Fml I just bought this game for the third 3 time, I had it on ps3 I bought the ps4 remaster and now…. it’s on sale, that fucking show got me in the feels guess I’ll be playing part 1 and 2 again…
Tess looks older in the PS5 remake because they wanted to age her up so that she was more age appropriate to Joel.
I’ve never played last of us. I always heard it was great, just never got into it. After watching the first 3 episodes of the show, I’m totally hooked into this universe. The issue I’m having is, I have a ps5 digital. So getting this game is 75$(after tax) 85$ if I want the deluxe version. I just can’t justify paying that for a game that came out for ps3 originally. Am I crazy? Will this price ever come down?
I just pre ordered this on PC. I hope that the PC version runs as well! I want to play this so bad even though I've played every other version of this game many times in the past!
For some reason I like the to play this at 30 fps. it feels more cinematic/movie like. 60 fps makes it feel more gamey and less atmospheric.
i agree completely. I love the remake but if you have the remaster 70 is a bit much…. wish there was a a digital upgrade path from the Remaster for 20 or 30 bucks
At $70 Naughty Dog should have bundled both titles fully enhanced on the PlayStation 5 as a single package
Pitty there is no straight romances so n e v e r again in our free time for our money n e v e r Days Gone we love he found his wife and we are happy
What is your set price for purchase? I would have like to heard a number for you.
The first playthrough, is a very nice remake. NG+ with Slow Motion aiming this game becomes a murder simulator. This is by far, the most detailed video game in terms of blood and gore I have ever seen. I'm 31, the last time I was shocked over the gore in a video game was probably back in my late teens early 20's. The level of detail as far as the damage and how flesh breaks apart and reacts to the force of bombs or bullets here is staggering. Blood flows in real time from individual bullet holes. You can literally turn a perfectly white floor into a unrecognizable stain of mush and body parts with black level blood clogged end trails. Not a game for kids.
I'm one of the few people who never played the original so I'm looking forward to trying it out on PC
im pre ordering this for PC and definently gonna play it on its pc launch. atleast its 60€ on steam instead of the 70 or 80€ ive heard about
Got a semi weird question – does this feel like a Hollywood movie or some dark European indie thing? Would Michael Bay or Lars von Trier be more likely to direct it?
This should have been a 10 dollar upgrade tops.
Absolutely love The Last of Us but I can't justify the price. Hopefully they realize that and put it on sale soon. It'll sell so many more copies.
Easily the definitive version of the game, the graphical upgrade heightens the emotion of ever major beat (David's slaughter was particularly more brutal), and all the new accessibility options along with the unlockable cheats open up so much more fun to be had once you're through on pure runs. Definitely perfected violence in video games, amazingly realized carnage. I remember a man peaking over a box just as I'd swung over with a shotty and went Copperfield on his head. Or tossing a bomb behind a crowd of enemies and watching the rain of body parts. Brutal.
Though I can understand people being upset with the full price tag, I do think newcomers won't feel that slight negative. Though, admittedly, I myself am waiting until it drops down to at least $40, as many times as I've beaten TLoU, I can wait for my next playthrough. And without all the multiplayer BS, I'll definitely be platinuming this one.
Lazy bastards couldn’t even add prone or dodge
