Only having gamepass definitely makes it much easier to sink my teeth into its definitely not super repayable unfortunately but I enjoy my time playing. I never got the chance to play the arkham games which I definitely need to do it may be a different opinion then
just buy the arkham games instead if you haven't played them there's a lot more things to do in the open world especially collectables and side quests
I am playing it right now for platinum, and I can say that game is not enjoyable.

I’m glad it came to game pass today because even with all the bad press and negative reviews I kept thinking people may have been exaggerating about how truly awful it is. Even if it was perfectly optimized and played at a smooth locked 60fps in 4K. The game would still be garbage. The devs should be embarrassed and offer an apology for the combat alone.

Correction. Prince if Persia had the free flow system before Arkham. 2nd spiderman 2 also had dodge and counter mechanics while fighting multiple does before batman

This game also made the ending of Arkham Knight completely useless, The Knightfall protocol was supposed to kill the batman and leave Bruce and Alfred to live in the darkness to protect everyone else. But now not only they both appear, bruce actually killed himself HOW DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE. I mean if you could use time to plan your own dissapear, why would you use that to kill yourself tho. They shouldn't have touched that because it was one of the coolest things of the last game

I feel that the excuse that it’s not an Arkham game isn’t an excuse as from what I could tell, they were riding on the idea that it would be like an Arkham game when it really wasn’t, it was either that and they tried to push as close to the idea of being an Arkham game but far enough so they could just backpedal and say “well it isn’t an Arkham game”

Don’t care if this is an unpopular opinion, but I think Curran walters should have voiced red hood, and maybe they should have based his design off of him too
I think this game has a bit to much hate this game is leagues better than Marvel's Avengers the co op is still fun the combat can use some work but still enjoyable and atleast this time when you craft gear it shows unlike marvel and some gameplay elements are pretty fun give it a try.
Saw this game for 20$ opened/used at gamestop, might be worth it now….I think.

This game fucked me up so much I had to delete it because it just pissed me off. I can’t really believe it is that shit but it is.

Basically, another unfulfilled promise. However, considering how empty and lackluster it seems to be, I would think that the development of this game wasn't good, and it probably started as a live-service and microtransactions filled title, then, as the competing titles flopped, notably Avengers, they went back, removed all of that, but got left with an otherwise empty and unexciting game and couldn't fill the glaring holes back. Otherwise, despite the pandemic, I can't see how delaying its release helped the project.
A shame really, and we're probably not going to see a repeat of CP2077 with the devs releasing major patches and content updates to bring the game's quality much higher and closer to what it should have been from the start. As someone who's been craving superhero action since the Arkham series and who was really looking forward to this practically spiritual succesor, it's a letdown.
It is what it is. I would rather look forward to other games then, such as the upcoming Silent Hill madness, so much to be hyped for there (but simultaneously also plenty that can go wrong for the same reason).
I appreciate the game trying something different than the Arkham games but I agree, it doesn't replace that series in my heart.
Out of all the characters in the game Nightwing felt the most fun (I have a biased) and the Harley fight was fun but the game could have used more time in the oven for sure.

I heard the game was bad, but only from a performance standpoint, I had no idea that it was packed with microtransaction BS.
Gotta love how that's just kinda become the norm where mobile game BS is there and not talked about but it the visuals aren't great is the issue.

i like running around with my friend and beating up criminals but i can see how this game would be pretty boring to play alone. I've never played an arkham game so i don't have much to compare it to but i still think the games pretty fun so far
Can't share the sentiment – if you're on PC, then we finally got a Persona 5 Royal port, and that's easily one of the best games released this year even though its old already.
God of War is quite good.
Darktide might be good.
