A tip for Purple mountain Dusk Veil boss: The scorpion lord won't engage you until you destroy his stash. Don't fight him, instead go to Dusk Veil location and start fight the boss. To your surprise, when Dusk Veil's health bar dropped down to half, the Scorpion Lord will join the fight and aid you. But beware of his poison. Let them both fight and the Scorpion Lord dies anyway. You only have to fight Dusk Veil's second phase.
That scorpion king took my around 5 hours of tries to beat when I did it was GLORIOUS!! Also spend 10 to 15 hours in each level before moving on grab everything you can go back and forth and you will never need a video telling you what this does where this guy is etc trust me it’s better to find out for yourself all the amazing secret bosses mpcs and all that stuff 😊

Fun fact, the reason many gamers haven't found these secrets is because the game's practically just landed on shelves. Stop ruining the surprise and let people find these things for themselves. At least give it 6 months 🙄
If you go to the scorpion lord but don’t mess with his booze, he’ll help you take down that giant rooster demon thing at the end of the map. It makes for an even more epic fight than the chapter 2 stone bosses.

After you complete Ch 2 and find the first checkpoint, head back to the monkey npc who upgrades your gourd . He'll have a worm & fragrant vine available for purchase so you can upgrade the potency of the gourd & a extra heal.. at that point i could drink up to 7 times..

Anyone else only got 3 of the 4 armor pieces from the giant beetle boss? It's so weird, cause it has a 4 piece bonus
I'm gonna have to replay this game eventually when there's a complete walkthrough available, because there's just so much stuff you miss while playing normally. I know of at least one boss that I'm permanently locked out from ever fighting in this playthrough because I didn't do so earlier, and I wouldn't be surprised if there's plenty more that I've already progressed past.
