The recent footage of Sonic Superstars made me want to try one of the newer sonic games. This looks really good, and I've always loved the music in Sonic. I also love Veil of Maya and felt like bands like them and Born of Osiris have hints of Sonic in them! About to pick up a copy of this.

Playing Sonic Frontiers feels so much better than I thought, the best Sonic game since Sonic Generations for me.
Just played the 1 hour test version and I love it. It's just a blast. The gameplay, the open zones, the speed, the fighting system, the boss fights, the video sequences…I love it all. For me Sonic Adventure, Sonic Generations and Sonic Frontiers are the best modern Sonic games ever!
2 places I would love to see in frontiers is seaside hill from hero’s and crisis city from 06. I feel like seaside can be expanded on and dropped in somehow. I feel like it’s got potential to link zones with its level design. Crisis city seems like a plat forming challenge. It could take some inspiration from stage 1 of forces. I would also like an ice cyloop and a flame kick tech from shoo upgrades maybe.
This review is spot on. You nailed it. The game isn't groundbreaking. But fun especially if you're a Sonic fan.

this game needs a sequel so badly. keep the exploration and gameplay have a more interesting open world. Reduce the collecting there are 7 recourses to collect that become very tedious by late game. remove the minigames or at least make them side quest. Have a more upbeat story the story in frontiers is very somber.
You lost me when you compared it to Zelda BOTW. Nowhere near that level. 😕

It's literally sonic ripping of BOTW for the most part. For that, I despised it at first. After about 6 or so hours of gameplay, I can't put it down. This is the first good 3d sonic game by a long shot. Definitely headed in the right direction as you said. The controls and camera need some work, but overall very solid title. 7 or 7.5/10. I say keep ripping off zelda. It's actually working

I think most people don’t want to play as just sonic…i think that might be why its having trouble selling…people want to play as tails, knuckles, shadow, amy, etc…they involve all these characters through the years just to make a solo game that as it looks from the reviews I’ve been watching don’t even at least have any of the characters in the game at all…🤔

Sonic Frontiers is a good Sonic game but, it's not my favorite my favorite Sonic game of all time is. Sonic Heroes for the PS2 I remember getting that game in 2003, at the age of 16 from my brother and I was in love with it because, you got to play as everyone in that if you don't want to play as Sonic, you can play as shadow or the other characters. like you had the opportunity to switch I don't care who didn't like Sonic Heroes but, that Sonic game will always be in my heart as number 1 and, me and my best friend used to sit down and play it all the time so yeah, Sonic Heros is still my favorite Sonic game. It's my opinion Get at me
