The short was cool man, I remember liking it and showing a lot of my friends that would never have guessed that’s how a train light is coded into a game, it was simple, fun, and interesting.
The perfect short.
As a PC player, I’m extremely upset by this. The reason why GTAV has less players than console is because of the horrible anticheat and immense power than modders have on PC GTA. If they made this not the case I’m sure GTA would be just as popular on PC as the consoles even if it’s PC players plugging in controllers, which as someone who plays with keyboard and mouse, I’m pretty sure most people play with controller.
I will not be buying GTA VI on Console because I can't just go out and buy a multi-hundred dollar console for ONE GAME that I'm only gonna use until GTA VI comes out on PC, if ever based on these statements. Not even Guaranteeing a PC release like, say, a year later or something or even a simple "Eventually it WILL come to PC" is genuinely appalling to me, personally. None of my friends have a PS5, none of us have an Xbox Series X/S. We all play GTA V exclusively on PC except for one who plays it on Xbox One. None of us will be able to play GTA VI until the NOT EVEN GUARANTEED release on PC.
Furthermore, what even is the point of buying it on the current generation of console if it's likely going to be around for 2 or 3 more console generations like 5 was? On Xbox 360, GTA V stopped receiving updates after a certain point because of the technical limitations of the console vs. the Xbox One and PC's. With this in mind, why buy GTA VI on Xbox Series X/S when it's potentially gonna encounter the same issue in 4 or 5 years after launch?

it's pretty easy to understand that they just want all the possible profit they can get from an initial first release before people start pirating it on PC

I spent my childhood on console. when I was 19 I got a gaming laptop and I havent looked back. Its not the most powerful computer but PC is just better. I guess Im waiting a year because Im not buying a series X/S or PS5, especially this far into the life cycle

everyone having different PC builds, means it is inevitable most PC players wont get consistent FPS or have to play in lower graphics, which might bring initial negative reviews

they are not releasing to PC for 2 reasons…. 1) im sure they have some kind of inside deal with sony/microsoft so that everyone who hasn't upgraded to next gen yet, does. 2) and this is probably the most important reason… they dont want modders ripping the game files apart on the first day and spoiling everything and coming-out with cheats and modded accounts etc etc. TBH I am a console player and even though I know that the PC version is the best with respect to frames/graphics etc… the modded accounts ruin the game.
So they say that it will come first to consoles because "The right strategy for our business is to be where the consumer is" … like… that sentence and the fact that they're planning to release it first in consoles doesn't make any fucking sense, like.. you can't just say that there's more console players that pc.. I mean… duude… if you think there's more console players nowdays, you're either dreaming or living in another planet. Who the f**k is playing in console in 2024, my godd… this has to be some bs contract/deal they may have with Sony and Microsoft or something like that…nobody wants f**ing consoles…
