Dad games. Which ones did we miss, and what do you rate them for Fun and Fatherly Insight?
Stop making me want to be a dad Pat, the planet is dying.
yo, this got deep
This is fucking art. I'm a dad, and this video made me laugh and made me cry.
Pat you're sooo funny!!! :>
The captions for the musical interludes are on point. 😆
actually cried watching this, i love my dad. thanks, pat
I'm not sure why Pat has such issue with the golf game. I loved having "anonymous hole action" with dads back in college.
yahh. mmhmm.
Thought this was This American Life for a minute. Lol great writing and delivery!
Thank you for addressing how fucked up lawns are.
Who’d of thought that this video would be current over a year later?
I appreciate this game as a millennial dad who still calls his mommy when he has a tummy ache.
(wet)
that train derailment joke hits hard
and anyone can be a dad, its non-gender based, since if a woman's a dad, that just means they're someone who takes on the responsibilities of parenthood with ease. When a mom takes on responsibility in media, its portrayed as a burden, like she must be exhausted to have it all. While a dad can do all this while telling jokes and going on road trips. But really anyone can be a dad. Anyone can tell dad jokes. Or mom jokes. Or guardian jokes.
This was so poetic! You really pushed the medium here, Pat! You can go even further, I reccon!
My dad only plays a mahjong tile matching game and crossword puzzles.
Bud, you forgot "shower with your dad simulator".
Completely off topic from the video's main theme of dads, but does anyone know what the picture on the left of his back wall is from or even what it is? I'm just really curious about that
Dude is the reason I'm subscribed. 💯
This new guy sucks!
I killed my dad back in '82
We got my dad an oculus over quarantine because all his friends had one as well, now they play vr golf all the time.
But what about the wood shop Patrick
what about the wood shop
If this is what dads are like, quiet, thoughtful, well-spoken and sincere.. then I love dads.
No, cutting the lawn is not supposed to be zen, you're supposed to ride around like a mad person, taking down nature with a stupid loud blade and avoiding clipping the corner of the 2 wheeled motorcycle trailer parked behind the shed causing the hitch to fall off the tower of bricks and a bucket my dad perched it on (It was an old trailer my dad got for free from a friend and also no bike was in it, thankfully). It's about running over the same area twice to get the spots you missed until you say "Good enough!" and stop. It's about pulling out the trimmer and worrying that I was going to hit my ankles with the wire and also avoiding hitting the flowers when doing the edge of the flower bed! It's about vowing to have a moss lawn when you get your own place so you don't have to cut the grass anymore!
