I got myself stuck with the orange squares in the "up" position. When I left the room, it was the same way. I finally used my bow and arrow to shoot across and hit the lever. It worked. Now I can continue on
i know this is old but i'm new to Zelda games (started with TOTK, then BOTW, and now I just got my own switch and this game) and your walkthroughs are so helpful! I'd be so very lost without you, you're awesome 😀

wow I somehow glitched the room with the 3 enemy’s because I went through the stair right as I killed the last one so I went back and it wouldn’t appear so I thought I’ll just make a new save file and guess what for whatever reason it’s glitched in every save file I made awesome!
Duude. It never told me how to kill shy guys and there wasn't a beak, and it let you go past the first boss without doing it. dumb game…
This was a really helpful video. I just picked up the game a few days ago and was completely lost as to what to do on this stage. This was like three things I probably would have never figured out or thought of shown in here. Especially killing that vortex thing. So thanks 👍

3 yrs later and I am finally picking up this game. Just wanted to say thank you for this full play through! I don’t usually play Zelda games, but the look of this game made me want to try! After my hubby got me through the first dungeon, I felt it was appropriate to try and do this for myself! Going through the Bottle Grotto and defeating the boss made me a little bit more proud of myself. I look forward to watching and then playing this game with your playthroughs!

Absolutely LOVE this walk through series! I started at episode 2 and realized I missed a few items so went back to episode 1 for the seashells and a heart piece, which matters alot when I only had 3! It makes the game so much more fun and fluid 😊

Haha you got no idea how long I have been trying to solve the stalfos, imprisoned pols thing and keese for. I got stuck on that bit years ago on the original gameboy Link’s awakening when I was about 10 or 11. I am now 35! Thanks to your walkthrough, I have now finished that puzzle.
Also, don’t worry, I haven’t been playing this each day since I was 11!
Bro this isn’t that helpful because im trying to get the nightmare key but the ghost guy keeps on moving around and it’s no where near fun
