Everything else is situational but essential when needed. Shock proof, unfreezable, flameproof, all great when you need it.
Under appreciated: The bokoblin moblin and lizalfos masks once you can buy them. I have much fun walking right up to those enemies, or just walking past them if I'm not in the mood to fight.
I agree with you on these armors. Except for the dark armor cause I have yet to get that. Have one more divine beast to defeat then it’s mine. Already have more than enough mon for it. Just have more fun farming for items and parts and attacking hinox’ and other annoying enemies. 😜😜😜😜😜

If the Dark Link set was upgradeable, I'd probably wear it most of the time! Especially in The Depths! And at night! In TOTK (I'd expect that it's the same in BOTW,) the Sheikah set gives you the night time speed boost too, when you have it blessed by 2, or more, fairies! I did get a lot of love from my Phantom set, in my 2nd playthrough, as I got it very early, and it kept me good until I was able to unlock fairies! Or felt like bothering with it, rather! It's just a shame that the Phantom, Evil Sorcerer, and Dark Link sets, are ull non-upgradeable! Because I like that spooky look! 😊

It really depends what you're looking for in an armor set…. Speed, defense, offense..
If you're looking for the most well rounded armor set, then Ancient Armor is your best bet.
Yes but why does snowquill have a feather head dress which would provide zero warmth in reality while stealth have a thick heavy warm wrap that would nosily flap in the wind?

I honestly think Royal Guard Uniform is better than climbers since you don’t have to level it up to get the buffs of climbing and it mixes in swimming as well.
