Black Myth: Wukong looks awesome, but by nature of its review process has found itself being a good opportunity to discuss …

I just want a physical copy of
9:53 you don't say. So how's it's any different from regular twitch mile long ban words list? And slightly shorter yt one?
Edit: And for silly ppl who'll get it the wrong way, I'm not saying one is ok because the other is ok. I'm saying neither is ok, but surely someone will come along and say "you don't get it, it's completely different things! It's thier bad censorship, and our protecting X *insert group of ppl they decide to justify thier censorship with today*"
The game plays fine on my ps5 haven’t noticed any glitches other then my cape and staff clipping through each other. The loading times can take 15 seconds or so which isnt bad but idk if it's faster on pc.
On the hindsight, choosing Star Wars OutLaws over Wukong is not a good call on my end😂
Gentle Jade Empire music in the background of this one! Love it
drama? Do you mean the jealous "gaming journalist activist" ?
I'm playing on PS5, works great!
Most of the players that complain about this game are xbox shills lol.
you only need to enjoy the egg, not to know the hen behind it.
why is american media so racist?
You chose to review Star Wars Outlaws over Black Myth?
Also, why would you title the video "Black Myth Wukong Drama" and then avoid all of the actual substance surrounding the discourse like how an IGN hit-piece against the studio purposefully mistranslated the lead dev's words from Chinese to propagate a false narrative of sexism?
The game looks really fun, but it is, admittedly, difficult to support with such nasty reports about how bigoted the dev team is. Even if it somehow doesn't bleed into the game, I certainly don't want to see bad people become influential. And with how the studio has responded, or lack thereof, to questions, it makes me believe that their offices are rancid and reek of sweat.
I wouldn’t expect any other take from the Professional Todd Howard meat rider
bets on this guy playing wukong after the overwhelmingly positive release?😅
Not getting it. Wish it had a physical release!!!
At least Chinese studios don't care about western identity politics. It's great.
"Not enough diversity" is not a legitimate criticism of a game
My problem is this game has the communist CCP party all over this game. You can’t have a business without the CCP being involved. Don’t give the CCP your money and personal information
It's not an interesting situation. Companies want good publicity. They give pre-release codes to generate good publicity. They want to try to ensure that the reviewers and streamers give good publicity, because negative publicity is NOT what they want. They make streamers and reviewers sign these agreements in order to attempt to control the narrative around the game.
This is not about freedom of speech. The company has a right to give pre-release codes who whoever they want. You are not owed a pre-release code. You have a right to say whatever you want about the product – even if you sign a contract with the company, you can still write whatever you want, just at the price of burning your bridges with the publisher. No one will be arrested or fined or jailed for writing a bad opinion about Black Myth Wukong even if they signed an agreement saying they would not.
After release and after you buy the game, you can write or say whatever you want. Freedom of Speech, even in Western contexts, is SOLELY about governments not interfering with the expression of ideas. No society has total freedom of speech, but some have more freedom of speech than others. Game reviews and pre-release reviews are not, at the end of the day, not much of an issue. And yes, they are using you and taking advantage of you for positive press. What did you think they were doing?
Some might argue that the pre-release reviews are misleading. I say that if you think pre-release reviews are honest, that's a problem with your ability to think logically.
In Chapter 3 you have Female boss. Very nice Design, kick like hell. Some of "Journalist" play only 2 chapters.
Commie chynese propaganda bs copy paste
When you make a game but people use it to criticize your Country is pretty fucked up.
My favorite since Elden Ring pretty easily
Honestly I don't understand how cyberpunk being a mess during review copies and long after relates to either black myth wukong or the controversies. can someone give me a quick highlight of the controversies? Maybe that will help me understand.
